I suddenly sit up as I felt my body getting scorching hot. I put both of my hands to my mouth as I start couching as I open my eyes, only to be astonished when I'm surrounded by fire.

Fire.

That's all I see.

That's all I feel.

At least my body isn't touched by fire.

Suddenly I heard something cracking, which made me look up, only for my eyes to widen when I see  large amount of wood burning and its about to fall on me. Immediately I move away as I heard it slam to the floor. I cover my mouth as I closed my eyes since I felt the smoke coming towards me. After a few seconds, I inhaled air since I needed to breathe, but end up inhaling smoke, causing me to cough harshly.

Damn. What the hell happened?

"MEI!!!!" I heard someone voice calling out to me, causing me to look everywhere as I noticed the fire getting larger, the smoke expanding everywhere, causing my heart beat rapidly in horror.

I'm scared. I'm absolutely scared.

I look for any way to at least try to get out of the fire. My eyes are getting a bit teary since the smoke is irritating my eyes. Instantly, I see an opening that can give me a slightly higher percentage of survival.

When I took one step towards an opening, I heard something else fall near me, causing me to fall also as I scream, covering my head so I don't hurt myself.

"MEI!!! WHERE ARE YOU??!!!" I heard someone yelling out to me again. I look forward, despite the fact that I feel extremely weak and extremely light headed. My vision starts to get hazy as I suddenly see someone's figure at a small distance away from me. I can tell this figure has long hair and what appears to be a cape.

Then I start to gasp for air as I try to say, "Help...me...."

Then my vision gets blurry as I faintly see him crouch down to a leg.

"My... child... your time yet..." That's the only thing I heard before I closed my eyes as I blacked out.

Suddenly my eyes open back, only to be in slight shock when I'm somewhere else. I'm inside a white room with a door at my left, a few feet away from me. I heard like a 'beep-beep,' which made me turn around, only to be in slight shock when I see a younger version of myself sleeping in a hospital bed, with a white blanket over her body, her arms resting over it. She has a heart monitor and an IV attached to her. I walk up to her as I lightly touched her hair. Now that I look closely at her, she has some slight burn marks on her arms.

What the hell going on??? I thought as I realized that I'm in a dream, yet it felt extremely real, as if I experienced this before. But that can't be possible. I've never been in a hospital before.

Then I heard some shouting as I heard the door open, which made me feel alert as I turn around, only for my eyes to slight widen from some strange circumstances. I see a young boy, about 15 or 16, has spiked, dark brown hair and heterochromia eyes- his right eyes is darker brown while the other is hazel. Its by best friend, Kurosaki.

I see him walking towards her, and gently holds her hand, looking miserable. "Hey, baby sister. Can you hear me?" He said gently as he lightly squeezes her hand. Then I heard the door open again and was slammed shut, which made me flinch as I see who the hell would slam a hospital door like that. My eyes once again widen in shock as I see the same person with the same similar hair like Kurosaki, except his eyes are amethyst like me.
