Part 18 No peace of mind
They looked at the entrance and saw Khushi entering. Akash smiled, seeing Khushi in jeans and top. She smiled at them. Their attention got dragged by Arnav's utterance.
"She is not our company's model but Aman's PA," he said to Jhonson.
"Oh... will she do modeling?" Jhonson asked.
Before Aman said anything,
"No... she won't," Arnav said hurriedly.
The trio looked at him and then spared a glance in between them.
"From when you started taking decisions of other's Nannav?" NK asked.
"I just..."
"Guessed?" NK asked.
Arnav nodded yes.
"She has a photogenic face. She can do modeling if she is interested..." Jhonson said.
By now, Khushi reached them.
"Good morning, guys" She smiled. Arnav felt a tug, seeing her smiling at them as she stopped smiling at him recently.
"Has not the shooting started yet?" Khushi asked.
"We got stuck, Khushi," NK said.
"What happened?"
"Isha is not coming"
"Whaaaat! But why?" she asked shockingly because she know the team had worked hard for the photo shoot.
"Her mother admitted to the hospital," Akash said.
"Oh, God... what's next?"
"We have to search for another model," NK said.
"oh..."
"Jhonson says you have a photogenic face..." Aman said.
Khushi looked at him surprisingly. Why does he drag her into it?
"Could you do this photoshoot, Khushi?" Aman asked.
Khushi's eyes automatically fell on Arnav who was gazing at her suffocating. His facial expression revealed that he didn't want her to do it.
"Me? No way... I just can't" she said firmly.
"Please, reconsider, Khushi"
"Please, try to understand, Aman. I'm from a middle-class family. Modeling is not my cup of tea. I'm sorry" Khushi was about to leave,
"What about Saree?" Aman asked.
"Saree?" Jhonson asked frowning.
"Khushi looks gorgeous in Saree.... She gave the interview in Saree... I can remember that" Aman said smilingly.
NK and Akash spared a glance. Is Aman planning to overtake them?
Khushi again looked at Arnav who slightly nodded his head like no that made Khushi wonder. Is not he the same man who said he would never interfere in her life?
"Khushi, you no need to do it for free... I will pay you for it. Hot cash..." Aman said.
Khushi nodded no without thinking.
"Trust me Khushi, the photos will be decent..."
"If she doesn't want to do it, why are you forcing her Aman?" Arnav asked.
They looked at him surprisingly.
"She is just hesitant..." Aman said looking at Khushi.
"Great... It seems Arnav has started talking..." Jhonson said.
