Part 53 Mysterious Man
The next day

Someone knocked on the door and Shashi opened it. He saw a woman standing.
"Namaste " she greeted him.
"Namaste... What can I do for you?" Shashi asked.
"I heard a rental house available here..." the woman asked.
"Oh, yeah..."
Shashi called Garima looking inside. Garima rushed out.
"Bring the house key," he said.
Garima nodded ok and brought the key.
"She is here to see the rental house. Show her the portion" Shashi said.
"Please come" Garima headed towards the backyard of the house where there was a rental portion.
The woman followed Garima. She saw the house and she liked it.
"How much is the rent?" she asked.
"Ten thousand rent and one lakh rupees' advance payment"
"Is it negotiable?" the woman asked.
"No beta... It's fixed. In fact, we are asking the rent fairly. Our neighbor is getting twelve thousand for the same model portion"
"Ok, aunty, I will tell you my decision after discussing it with my mother," the woman said.
"Ok, but tell us ASAP if you want this house because we will prefer the person who pays token advance for the house"
"Sure aunty. I will tell you as much as possible."
Garima nodded ok.
"Can I get some water?" the woman asked.
"Oh, sure, please come in"
The woman came inside GH.
"Please take your seat" Garima went to the kitchen.
The woman ran her eyes and her eyes got stuck on the photo that was hanging on the wall. Garima came with a glass of water and handed it to the woman.
"Who are they, aunty?" The woman asked Garima, pointing at the photo.
"My daughter and her husband"
"His name is Arnav right?" she asked.
"Do you know him?" Garima asked curiously.
"Of course, I know him very well"
"How do you know him?"
"We studied in the same school"
"Oh... "
"He would not have forgotten me... Tell him my name. He will surely know me"
"What's your name?"
They heard the question from behind. The woman looked behind and saw Shashi standing.
"My name is Meera. Working in St. Xavier school as a teacher"
"Why do you say that Arnav would not have forgotten you?"
"It's because I loved him so much and proposed to him too"
Shashi and Garima looked at each other.
"Many girls loved him. Why not, if he looked damn handsome?" She chuckled.
"Though many girls loved him I'm special for him"
"Why?" Both asked at a time.
She smiled.
