Ch 30 - The Calm Before Storm

Vision Hunt Decree, it's a policy that was planted in Inazuma by the Raiden Shogun herself. After taken the 99th vision under the policy, she will take a Vision to mark the 100th in the Ceremony as the Army of Tenryou Commission already caught a vision bearer.

And this person is Tohma.

He's being tied, pinned down by Raiden Shogun's soldiers.

The ceremony was supposed to be happened earlier but because she was returned a Vision in order for (Y/N) to make him join her.

But now, it was about to happen.

Raiden Shogun is looking at the Thousand Armed Statue as the storm was happening behind it in far away before looking at Tohma and conjured her Electro Vision, taking away his Pyro Vision which levitate toward her.

But someone intervened...

The girl is wearing white colored clothes, enlisting in lighting and take the Pyro Vision before reached the Shogun's hand and embrace it, checking if the Vision is not broken.

Raiden: "You..."

The soldiers whose beside Tohma are rushing toward the Traveler but Lumine is more faster and experienced, capable taking them out of consciousness using the flying strike of Electro.

After that, she's rushing toward Tohma using Electro to improve her speeds, as trying to help him, she was shocked by Electro elements and saw that Raiden Shogun was the one who did it.

Lumine saw that Raiden Shogun was descending using Electro Vision as stairs and her foothold.

Raiden: "You're capable of using elemental energy without a Vision, I see... You're just like him, an exception. Unlike him, your exceptional power is the enemy of "Eternity"..."

Raiden is chanelling her Electro energy, caused lighting to erupted out from her body which makes her levitate also...

Then, a lighting sword emerged out of her, slowly emerging out from her chest and soon she grabbed it and bring out the sword in its prime. To respond this, Lumine summing her sword and prepared her fighting stance.

Raiden: "You will be inlaid in front of this statue..."

With swift slash movement, the space behind her was cracked in purple and then, it's shattered like a glass, engulfing Lumine in dark void. She wanted to escape from it but failed as she's saw nothing but darkness, like she's seeing an everlasting night.

But then, a sudden circle appears beneath her while countless Shrine's gates were emerging out from under in the surrounding area.

What awaits her is a woman who has resembles appearance of Raiden Shogun, levitating in the mid air before opened her eyes and slowly approached Lumine.

Ei: ".........."

Lumine know she need to fight her in order to escape from this space and so, she summoned her sword once again and take a stance before rushing toward her enemy with lighting speed but Raiden just walking toward her slowly and summoned out a tachi.

Lumine's P.O.V

Damn it! My sword can't reach her at all. Her movements and skill are superior than mine. All I can do just dodge what I can and defend what I could.

No matter how many attempts strike I was doing, her strength is beyond what I can imagined. And then, a certain thought crossed in my mind.

Lumine: "At time like this, what he would usually do?"
