Ver meditates in the training room. Around her thousands of marbles and about 50 files float. She is searching the galaxy for some sign of the main Resistance base. So far she has found nothing. With a groan, Ver reaches out and pulls a file towards her. She scans the file that she has read time and time again.

Ver sighs as she throws the file away from herself. She then uses the force to organize the file.
Where could the Resistance base be located? These files weren't giving Ver anything to go off of. And even if she managed to find the base, what would stop the Resistance from just flying away?
Unless... What if the First Order was able to track Resistance ships after they jump? It would be much easier to stop them then.
Ver smiles happily to herself as she drops all her files and marbles onto the ground. Papers scatter everywhere but Ver pays them no attention as she floats over them and onto the floor.
No who to ask about making a tracker... Ver thinks as she stands in the middle of the room. Finally she decides on General Hux. Ver calls out to the force and searches the entire ship for the man. She feels his presence across the ship in the docking bay. Ver latches onto his mind and forces him to walk across the ship to the training room she occupied. A few minutes passed before Hux entered.
"How did I get here?" A very confused General Hux asks as she scratches his head. He looks around the room and glares at the girl in front of him. "Why am I here?" He asks angrily.
Ver picks at her nails.
"I had a question."
"So you brought me here?" Hux asks angrily. "Why not come find me?"
Ver sighs, a smirk forming on her lips.
"I didn't feel like it. Anyways back to my question." Hux rolls his eyes as he glances around the cluttered mess in the room. Ver tracks his eyes and organizes everything with the force all while never breaking eye contact with Hux. "As I am sure you are unaware of, the Supreme Leader has tasked me with ending the Resistance. While I was working I came across a solution that would end them once and for all." Ver pauses for dramatic effect. Hux rolls his eyes.
"Get on with it, then." Ver glares at the man as she steps towards him.
"Are you rushing me, dear general?" Hux steps back but Ver pushes him towards her with the force. She drags a nail down Hux's face as she looks up at him. Hux remains silent. "Good. Good. Now then, where was I?"
"Your solution," Hux supplies.
"Thats right! Anyways, my solution is that we simply track them in hyper space." Hux scoffs.
"That's not possible."
"Why?" Ver questions.
"It's never been done before."
"Neither had Star Killer base," Ver counters quickly. Hux groans.
"I can mention the idea to our engineers."
"We have engineers?" Ver asks excitedly.
"Yes. I can take you to them now."
"No. No. I want to study some before I speak with them. Can you get me information of hyperdrives and tractor beams?"
"Do I look like a servant?" General Hux asks, annoyance showing clearly.
"Yes," Ver answers, a sugar sweet smile on her face.
"I will send a trooper to collect any information we have."
"But Huxie boy, I want you to deliver it to me." Hux groans.
"Fine," he snaps before marching out of the room.
Months ago Hux would have challenged Ver more but she quite clearly outranked him now. Just like she had said, he had no idea she was tasked with ending the Resistance. You see, that was his job but he was on the outs with the Supreme Leader. Clearly Ver Loren was not and that terrified the general.
