The Sister of Rey (KYLO REN ROMANCE)

FOURTY FIVE

"I will send the Knights to pursue Rey," Kylo says gently as he lies in bed next to Ver. He brushes a hair from her face.

"I promised Rey that if she stayed out of my way, I would not go after her any longer. I haven't seen her since that day on Abelor."

"I understand that, doll. But if it is the cost to save the galaxy, she has to be brought in." A tear slips down Ver's cheek.

"For the future of the galaxy," she whispers. "Send them. Let them know if they fail, which they will, it will cost their heads."

"How do you know they will fail?" Kylo asks. He rolls over and kisses Ver's neck gently.

"Rey is a Palpatine, whether she knows it or not. We are smarter and stronger than the average foot soldier."

"My Knights are not foot soldiers!" Kylo argues. Ver laughs.

"Aren't they, Ky?" Kylo scoffs.

"What will it take for them to prove themselves to you?"

"I want to fight them- all at once." Kylo laughs. "So that's what you want. It was never about them finding your sister."

"No- I don't think that they can bring Rey in but I do want to fight them. It will be fun."

"For you it will be. They don't deserve to be beat up on so much."

"Don't go soft on me now, Ky. I'm a grown woman who enjoys her power. I thought you liked that about me..."

Rey had spent the last two years rebuilding the Resistance with her friends and working to discover what Rhy's purpose in the galaxy was. She knew deep within her that her sister was not all gone. Decades earlier Luke Skywalker had found good inside of Darth Vader. If the right hand of the greatest evil the galaxy had ever faced could see reason than so could her sister. All Rey had to do was save her from her purpose and she was determined not to fail.

So far, Rey had discovered a great power was awakened just over two years ago. Her thoughts had drifted back to the prophecy Rhy had given on the Supremacy before she nearly died.

Supremacy will sink from the sky-

The sought after will die.

A phoenix shall rise from the ash-

Revenge will cause one to act rash.

The fated evil will return-

Sisters fight, but will they learn?

Mistakes of the past come back to light.

Will peace be restored and end the decades long fight?

Rey had figured out most of its cryptic lines.

The Supremacy had fallen from the sky and been destroyed the day the prophect had been given. The next line had caused Rey months of pondering but she eventually came to the conclusion that the sought after was Luke Skywalker. The phoenix that rose from the ash was the Resistance. Their logo was a starbird but a bird nonetheless just as a phoenix was.

Rey wasn't sure what the fourth line meant yet. She had a feeling it had something to do with whatever Rhy and Kylo were planning for the galaxy. But until the two made a move, Rey couldn't know the meaning. What she did know was that the First Order had been relatively silent over the years. There had been no major changes in the galaxy except for the occasional conquering of outer rim planets. Although Rey did have to note that there did appear to be more aid ships helping the people of the galaxy then ever before. To Rey that meant her sister was still good.

The fifth line of the prophecy, Rey figured, was what the rash action caused. Perhaps it was the great power that was awakened two years ago. The following line was obvious. It was clearly about Rey and Rhy and the betrayals that littered their past. The mistakes of the past most likely related to the same theme.

The last line brought Rey some hope. The prophecy didn't set anything in stone for the fates of Rey and Rhy.

Ver stood over the unconscious bodies of all of the Knights of Ren. A single bead of sweat drips down her neck. She grins as she unlights her saber and puts it away. Kylo stands to the side laughing.

"Was that a good enough warm up for you, doll?" he asks. Ver looks over at him, confused.

"Warm up?" She questions. In a single fluid motion, Kylo draws his lightsaber and attacks. Ver barely had time to pull her own saber out and defend herself. Kylo flips over Ver and attempts to strike her from behind.

Ver expertly blocks his attack and sends a kick to his stomach sending the man skidding back. Ver laughs with pure joy as she goes on the offensive. Kylo blocks each of her strikes with great effort. Ver nearly strikes Kylo's feet with a single swoop but Kylo blocks it, leaving his upper body open. Ver takes the opportunity to elbow him straight in the nose. Kylo groans as blood drips from his nose. He gingerly touches his nose and winces.

"Doll, you broke my nose," Kylo says with false anger.

"Whoops," Ver answers with a small laugh. "My bad," she breezily calls out as she circles the man with a deadly stare.

"You baited me on purpose," Kylo accuses. "You attacked low with the intent to strike high."

"Perhaps I did. You can't prove a thing," Ver taunts. She raises her saber into a striking position. "Do you yield?"

Kylo responds by leaping into the air and attacking. Sparks fly as the two red sabers dance against each other. Ver leaps back and over the body of a knight of ren. Kylo leaps after her. They continue their battle until Kylo believes he sees an opening. Lunging forward he goes for it but Ver bends back and the saber flies over her. She then sweeps Kylo's legs out from under him and he slams into the ground. Ver raisers her saber straight up and drives it down. Just before it is going to hit Kylo she clicks it off.

Ver slips the saber away and offers a hand to Kylo. He grabs it and Ver helps the man to his feet.

"The best defense is an unbeatable offense," Ver says cheekily, mirroring what Kylo said to her during her training two years ago.

"I almost had you," Kylo responds as he pulls Ver into his body.

"It was a trap, Ky. One I knew you would fall for."

"Liar."

"We both know its true. I would never leave myself that exposed in battle if I didn't have a plan to cover for it." Kylo frowns.

"Its risky to leave yourself open like that."

"What's life without a little risk, Ky? It's only fun if you live a little." Kylo rolled his eyes. Ver skipped away, purposely stepping on three knights.

"Wake you foot soldiers up, Kylo. They have my sister to catch."

"So you think they are up to the task?" Kylo asked, surprised at the possible admission by Ver.

"No. But I think Rey will evade them."

"And will it cost them their lives to fail?" Kylo questions carefully.

"Maybe not. I guess we will have to wait and see..."
