It was on a hot saturday morning, specifically 10:39 A.M at nandito ako ngayon sa sarili kong kwarto sa dorm and currently drowning myself unto my thick and soft blanket.

I like the coldness and its texture kaya naman napagdesisyunan kong di talaga ako tatayo mula dito hanggang sa may magsabi sakin na may gyera dun sa labas.

It was a bad decision getting up from bed really, just like how I tried to do so awhile ago. I already took a bath and have myself all dressed comfortably with a shirt and lower pajamas when I was greeted by the magnificent heat from the sun. My skin felt like burning.

Para akong bampira na tinamaan ng sikat ng araw kanina kaya naman nakangiti kong sinarado ulit yung pinto ng dorm ko at bumalik sa kama.

Kung alam kong masakit sa balat, ba't ako lalabas diba?

"Fuck, this is heaven..." I mumbled through the thick soft fabric engulfing me with its coolness. I will never part with it. Swear...

Just then, I heard a rustling sound from somewhere.

"Kakarestock ko lang — ubos na agad?" I heard someone saying from the kitchen.

"...Yeah, what do you expect?" I answered subconsciously.

Duh, may mga patay-gutom na pumapasok dito minsan, alangan namang pakainin ko ng mga alikabok mga yun. Mauubos talaga yan...

Seconds later, agad akong napa-upo sa higaan nang may bigla akong napagtanto.

I grab my blankets and wrapped it around me while holding the Heaven's Blade in hand. Agad kong binuksan ang pinto ng kwarto ko at nagmadaling magpunta sa may kusina but to no avail, wala akong naabutan dun maski isang hibla ng buhok ng kung sinuman.

Who was that?

I grab the fridge's handle and opened it slowly only to see it full with packs of food, in different variations. From sweets to cold drinks nandoon sa loob.

Ah?

I immediately closed the fridge and went to other food storages in the kitchen at nung buksan ko ito isa-isa, bumungad sakin ang iba't-ibang canned foods, biscuit in packages, breads, spreads and spices, and so much more.

Where did these came from? Mula ba 'to sa nagmamay-ari ng boses kanina? I've never really paid any attention about it before but to really hear an unfamiliar voice and having so much goods after, it's really suspicious... and creepy.

If this is ill intentioned, siguro unang lamon ko palang ng mga pagkain dito and to so many times, patay na 'ko... but I'm still here, alive and kicking kaya ano ba talaga nasa utak ng gumagawa nito?

What outcome could they possibly achieved by doing this? From what I'm seeing, I'm the only one benefitting from it lol. Busog ako araw-araw e.

"Cassidy? Nanjan ka ba sa loob?" 

A knock came at isang kilalang boses ang narinig ko pagkatapos. Winala ko naman agad ang kanina ko pang hawak na Heaven's Blade saka naghikab saka nagkamot ng ulo. 

I wrapped the soft blanket around me tightly and sluggishly went to the door and opened it only to be greeted by a smiling grimlin's face.

Kahayupan nga naman oo.
