Chapter 24: A'mari's birthday

Kentrell pov

I stood at the door listing to A'mari on the phone with her family. There saying happy birthday to her. And that they cant wait to see her. It's 10am I heard the door bell. I went and open the door seeing jr, k3, baby k and starr holding gift bags and balloons.

Starr. This is for A'mari

Me. She in her room

I showed them her room unlocking the door opening it. They went in there and I went in my room watching them on the camera.

A'mari pov

My granny hung up. I heard the door open I sat up looking

Starr and jr. Happy Birthday

I smiled and they hugged me

K3 and baby k. Happy Birthday

Me. Thank y'all.

I opened all my gifts. Its shoes, clothes, money and phone cases

Me. Thank you

I hugged all of them seating back down putting everything back in the gift bags cuz I'm not gone put them up yet

Starr. You wanna come with me next week

I nodded they stayed for a little longer then they left. I got dressed and put some shoes on and doing my edges. Then i waited for them to say we can go

Jazz. Come on

I got up and we went downstairs getting in jazz car. Kentrell didn't come. She drove to my granny house and we went to the door. I knocked

Granny. Who is it?

Me. A'mari

She opened the door hugging me. She kissed my lips letting us in.

Uncle Austin. Hey A'mari

I smiled hugging him and the rest of my uncles and Aunties. And ugly kam is here. I rolled my eyes. Uncle Andrew picked me up kissing my face. He put me back down and my aunties hugged me

Kams mom. Hey

I waved I have seen her a lot. Uncle andrew married her when I was 6. I just don't know her name I heard barking

Me. King here?

Auntie aliyah. Yeah in my room

I smiled going to get him. When I opened the door king jumped on me licking my face. We went downstairs. King barked at kam

Auntie aliyah. King stop

He stopped barking looking up at me.

Granny. Come see your present and cake

I followed her in the dinning room seating on a chair. She handed me gifts. I got shoes. I smiled opening the other one it's beats and fidgets.

Uncle Austin. That's from me

Me. Thank u

I put all of it back in the gift bag. And granny gave me another on. It was candy, teddy bears and uggs

Kam mom. That's  from me

Me. Thank you

I put everything back in the gift bag. And grany handed me more gifts. The rest were ugs and clothes. Granny and tt aliyah got me a MacBook and apple watch.

Me. Thank you

I put them back in its gift bag. Uncle andrew put candles in the cake and lite it up.

Everyone. Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday birthday dear A'mari, happy birthday to you

I made a wish. I wished for my parents back and blew the candles. They let me cut the first piece.

I noticed that uncle Austin get a lot of froasting. I got up trynna run but uncle andrew held me down while uncle Austin smashed the cake in my face. I got a napkin wiping my face

Granny. You hungry?

I nodded seating back down eating my cake. Granny put a plate of food in front of me. I started eating. I started thinking about my parents. King barked so I looked down at him. He stuck his tongue out panting. I looked away from him and started eating again. I felt someone staring at me
I looked up seeing kam. I rolled my eyes finishing my food. I drunk my juice throwing my trash away.

Auntie set up my mac book and my apple watch to my phone and then we sat on the couch watching movies and eating snacks. I wish I can stay here.

Later that night

We're putting my gifts in jazz car. I wanna cry because I can't stay and I wanna stay. After we finished putting it in the car I hugged all of them except kam I don't like him. I got in the car watching them go back in the house. Tears rolled down my face

Jazz. You ok?

I nodded Turing towards the window crying silently. We pulled up to this house. She went in and came back out with the baby putting her in her car seat. Then she drove to the house she took the baby in the house and helped take my presents in the house. I put my presents in my closet. I took a shower and brushed my teeth. I can't stop crying. I put a bonnet on turning the lights off laying in the bed staring at the wall intill I fell asleep
