Chapter 25

A'mari pov

I just got out of school and I'm with Starr now. I looked out the window as we drove past stuff. We made it to k3 and baby k school and she got to go get them.

Jr. You ok?

I  nodded looking at him

Jr. Why you look so sad?

I looked back down at my lap not saying anything. When Starr and the boys got in the car I got in the front seat putting my seatbelt on. I stared out the window intill we pulled up to this place called pizza planet. We got out going in. We sat at a table and Starr ordered 3 boxes of pizza. And some soda.

Starr pov

I looked at A'mari she looks really sad. We started eating and talking. Then after we finshed eating I got some coins and we went and played the games

Me. What's wrong?

A'mari. Nothing

Her and jr went to play another game while I played this alien game with k3 and baby k.

2 hours later

We left out of pizza planet getting in the car. I drove I got gas and we went to the house.

Me. Y'all go take showers And get ready for bed.

They went upstairs and I went and took a shower

Jr pov

I took my shower brushing my teeth and getting dressed in my pjs. I went to go see if A'mari is really ok. I peak my head in her room and she was putting her socks on. I opened the door fully going in and closing the door behind me. I sat next to her

Me. You ok?

She nodded but a tear slid down her face

Me. Just tell me what's wrong

A'mari. I miss my daddy

She broke down crying. I pulled her into a hug and rubbed her back

A'mari. I wished to have my parents back

I don't know how it feels to not have parents. I still have my mom, dad and more family. So I don't know what that feels like and I don't know what to say either.

Me. There watching over you

A'mari. But there not here

I didn't say anything else I just let her cry on me intill she fell asleep. I laid her down tucking her in. I kissed her cheek and went to bed myself.
