A'mari pov

A pastor is in here prying over granny. She has 8 more hours and the doctors said her body will fully shut down. Me and tt liyah is cuddling on the blowup bed. I watched as the pastor walked out and granny looked over here. She smiled at us. We went over there laying on her stomach. I listen to her heart beat.

I looked up at granny seeing her watch me. She smiled at me. I smiled back at her. I got her hand and she held my hand tight rubbing her thumb over my hand. I looked at tt seeing her silently crying

Granny. Aliyah

Her voice sounds so weak. Tt looked up and granny used her other hand to wipe her face kissing her nose. I closed my eyes listening to her heart beat.

6 hours later

My granny Alexis, uncle Andrew, uncle Austin, tt ari, Jason and delon is here. Granny has gotten weaker. She only responds by blinking or squeezing are hand. I just laid on her chest listening to her heartbeat. I felt her squeeze my hand I looked at her she looked toward the door. I looked toward the door seeing spirits. It was daddy and mommy. They floated this way and went into my heart. I smiled looking back at granny. She mouth somthing. I watched her lips

Granny. I'll be in your hart to

A tear rolled down my face she wiped it with her thumb.

Jason. Have y'all ate

Tt liyah shook her head no.

Delon. I'll go get food

He got up leaving the room.

1 and a half hour later

The doctor came in. Granny body shuts down fully in 30 minutes. Tears are rolling down my face. Granny squeezed my hand. I looked at her she smiled. I wiped my tears but more tears rolled down my face.

Uncle Austin came over here rubbing my back. I guess the doctor is watching the time cuz he keeps looking at his watch. I just looked at granny in her eyes.

29 minutes later

Her eyes started slowly closing then her body went limp. Tears started pouring out my eyes. The doctor put the cover over granny head

Doctor. Let go of her hand sweetie.

I let go and he put her arm in the cover. I broke down crying. Uncle Austin picked me up rubbing my back. I felt him walking.

??. Is She ok?

Uncle Austin. Yea her granny just passed away

???. Aww I'm sorry for y'all lost.

I felt him stop walking

Uncle Austin. You want something out the venting machine?

I nodded looking up. He wiped my tears with his hand. More tears rolled out my eyes. I laid on his shoulder he got me some chips and a Gatorade. Then he got himself some chips and a Gatorade to. I drunk some of the Gatorade.

Uncle Austin. You ok?

I nodded

Uncle Austin. I was your age when my granny past away

I looked at him and he nodded. We went back in the room tt ari is holding tt liyah she's crying. Jason and delon started packing are stuff up and taking it out the room. Uncle Andrew gave me my phone. I put it in my pocket.

Granny Alexis. Y'all ready to go

Tt liyah wiped her face and nodded going to hugg granny and we left. I rode with my TT's and granny.

Tt ari sat in the middle so she can comfort me and tt liyah. We pulled up at granny Amanda house. We got out going in the house. King is seating on the love chair kam mom is watching tv. So where's kam. He came in the back door. Oh. me, tt liyah and tt ari went upstairs. We packed up tt liyah stuff

Tt liyah. I'm gone make this a air B and B and lock my momma door so they won't go in there

Tt ari nodded we put all tt liyah cloths in the suitcase

Tt ari. What you gone do when you move to stl?

Tt liyah. Probly start a Business

I looked down getting sad. I wanna go live with them in stl to. But I have to stay here

Tt ari. What's wrong

I shook my head getting up going to my room. I packed all my cloths back up. I put my MacBook and tablet in the bag to. I sat on the bed feeling my chest tighning up. I started wheezing.

Kam. What's wrong with you?

I got up getting my medicine bag I got an inhaler using it. Ugh it's empty. I got another inhaler. And it works I used it 3 times and went and sat on the bed. I glanced at the door seeing kam still standing there. I rolled my eyes getting up and closed my door. I laid down putting a movie on the tv. My phone started ringing. I answered it

Jr. You ok?

I shook my head no

Jr. What's wrong?

Me. My granny is gone

I started crying

Jr. I'm sorry. I know how you feel I lost my momo last year

I nodded laying my face in the pillow

Jr. Call me later so you can get some rest

Me. O ok

He hung up and I got under the cover crying myself to sleep.
