Chapter 33

aliyah pov

I woke up to A'mari crying. I opened my eyes seating up. She's having an anxiety attack. I got up getting her inhalers off the nightstand. King jumped on the bed sniffing her face.

Me. Mari

She looked at me. I gave her the inhalers. She used it and then the other one.

Ma. I cooked

I nodded waking arianna up. We brushed are teeth and went downstairs. King followed us downstairs. We went in the dinning room seating at the table. Only us, kam and Austin is down her. Ma gave us are food. I looked at A'mari seeing her eating. I started eating.

Ma. You know where your school is or the name of it?

A'mari. Yes

Ma. Aliyah gone take you tomorrow and i'll pick you up

She nodded. We finished eating. And we sat in the couch. Well A'mari laid on the floor with the dog. She pet him on the head looking at the tv.

A'mari pov

I heard a door open. I looked seeing granny Alexis coming from the hall way

Granny Alexis. Good morning

Us. Good morning

I looked back at the tv. I wonder if granny still got the playground in her backyard for me. I got up and king followed me. I oped the back door

Alarm. back Door open

Granny Amanda. Where you going?

Me. Back yard

I went out here looking around. She just has the trampoline and the tree tire swing

I got on the swing and king sat and watched. Well since he listening I gotta talk to him

Me. King

He lift his head

Me. I'm sad

He stuck his tounge out

Me. I know the people that killed daddy but I can't say nothing or there gonna kill me

He started whinning

Me. Maybe I can tell granny right before she pass away. Imma miss her

Tears started rolling down my face

He came and licked my tears away. He's sweet. And it's like he always listen to me. I got out the tire  swing and me and king went back in the house. Both of  my granny's looked at me

Granny's. You ok

I nodded

Granny Alexis. Why you crying?

I shook my head. King rubbed his head on my leg. I looked down at him we went upstairs laying on my bed. I cuddled with King. My door opened and my uncles cams in here. I hurried and wiped the tears that fell.

Uncle Austin. Let us put are numbers in your phone.

I got my phone off the charger. He put everybody number in my phone and of course put who number it was. I laid back down cuddling with my dogs.

Uncle Austin. What's up Jason and Delon

They talked a little bit

Jason. Let us put are number in your phone

I pointed to the nightstand. They did that before them and my uncles left out talking about the PlayStation. I closed my eyes listening to king breathing. Something to take my mind off of death. I started dozing off to sleep.

2 hours later

I woke up to someone shaking me. I flinched opening my eyes seeing kam

Kam. Ms Amanda told me to get you

I got up seeing that king is sleep. I went in granny room

Granny. Go get dressed we finna go to the art and science museum

Me. Ok

I went and got dressed and put on some uggs. Then a jacket. It's getting cold outside. I got my phone putting my Apple watch on

Me. See you later king

I pet his head which woke him up. I went downstairs.

Uncle andrew. You ready?

I nodded we went outside getting in the cars. We drove to the art and science museum. They paid and we walked around looking and reading about all theses amazing things.

Auntie ari. Mari look

I looked seeing her stand in front of a drawing that represents music. I nodded reading the information on it

Me. I wanna go over there

She went with me. We saw a lot of science

Me. This is what I'm learn in class

She nodded reading information on it.

Me. A spaceship

I pointed to it we went over there reading the information.

Later that night

I took a shower getting dressed for bed and brushed my teeth. I got in the bed. King jumped in the bed with me.

Me. Lay down

I hugged him getting tired. I started falling to sleep
