Chapter 80

A'mari pov

I handed my uncle andrew his gift. Today is his birthday. I hugged him going back to seat with my cousins. They finna go to the club and I think granny and pa pa are going to or there going to the this arcade for adults so there leaving us by are self. I laid on kanayla shoulder. She wrapped her arm around me.

I heard a knock on the door. Granny opened the door letting Jr and his cousins in. His dad and dad girlfriend came  in right behind them. After they told us they already ordered pizzand snacks and drinks for us they left. Kanayla, kam, Aj and mark went to the high guest room down here.

Me. Let go upstairs

They nodded agreeing. We went to my room. Jr introduced his cousins

Jaylin

Braylon

I put a movie on.

Jaylin. That's your girlfriend?

Jr. Yeah almost a year

He nodded

Anthony. Ooh Imma tell pa pa you got a boyfriend

Me. He already know

Kingston. Do your mom and dad know?

Kasiyah. Kingston shut up

Kingston. Why I was just asking a question

Safari. You know what you doing

Kingston. No I don't. A'mari answer my question

I rolled my eyes going to the other side of the bed getting on my phone. I turned towards the wall letting tears out.

Jr. You ok?

I hurried and wiped my face nodding

Aj. Food here

We got up going downstairs. I made me a plate and a cup of soda going back upstairs to my room not even in the mood eat anymore

Jr pov

Jaylin. What's wrong with her?

I looked seeing A'mari going back upstairs

Me. Oh her parents passed away. Her mom had cancer and died when A'mari was 5. And her dad was killed  in front of her last year

Braylon. That's sad

I nodded getting my plate and all us went back upstairs  in her room. She was laying in the bed under the cover. I put my plate down taking my shoes off. I sat next to her

Safari. See Kingston look what you did

Kingston. I didn't do nothing I was just asking a question

Kasiysh. That you already know the answer to

Payton. I'm going to tell kanayla and AJ

She left out. I put my hand under.the cover getting A'mari hand . I think she sleep. I heard her sniff. Oh she not sleep. I got my phone texting her if she's ok. And she texted back no. This is how we sometimes communicate when she's  really sad. Aj and kanayla came in here. Kanayla made Kingston and Anthony go to bed in A'mari granny room. Aj pulled the cover from A'mari head seeing that she was balled up. He picked her up and she put her face in his neck. He left out the room with her.

A'mari pov

Aj. It's ok

I wiped my tears away as he rubbed my back.

Aj. Tell me what's wrong

Me. I want my mom and dad

He nodded rubbed my back. He wiped my tears.

Aj. They not gone bother you nomore

I looked at him

Aj. Kanayla made them go to bed

I nodded he hugged me letting me get up. I went back in my room seating on the bed. Jr hugged me kissing my lips. I ate my food and all us played among us.

Payton. A'mari help me

She sat next to me and she got killed. I hid in a dark room.

20 minutes later

We're watching the boys play fortnight.

Kasiyah. Let's have a dance battle

Me. Yeah

We got up turning the light on and we connected the speaker to my phone and we chose were going against and we played music. Kasiyah went first then I went against her dancing to the music.

2 hours later

Aj blew up blow up beds for the boys. I laid on kasiyah back feeling tired. I smiled a little. It feels good not feeling like your rushed to spend time with your family for a surten amount of time. I started falling to sleep.

You have now reached the end of book 1. Book 2 will be about jr and A'mari
