Halloween

A'mari pov

I woke up to my alarm. My body hurts. I got up picked me out some cloths. I went in the bathroom taking my cloths off. I have red weeps all over my arms and legs. I got my cloths on. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. Then I got my shoes on then my book bag I got my phone off the charger putting it in my pocket. Jazz came in here. I looked down at my lap. She put make up on my neck an face and then we went downstairs. She made my lunch

Jazz. You hungry?

I shook my head no looking at my lap.

Jazz. You got practice today?

I nodded not looking up

Kentrell. Montana here to take you to school

I got up putting my book bag on. Then I got my lunchbox and followed kentrell outside. I got in Montana car flinching a little because the pain. Montana started driving

Montana. What's wrong with you?

I didn't answer. I can't trust none of them. Why my daddy had to get killed. A tear rolled down my face. I hurried and wiped my face. Soon as we pulled up at school I got out putting my book bag on. I closed the door and went in.

Kamari and harmony. Hey

Me. Hey

Kamari. What's wrong?

Me. Nothing just still tired

They nodded they walked me to class. There in the other 6th grade class. I got my warmup and went to seat down.

Ms Wilson. A'mari come here

I put my pencils down going out there

Ms Wilson. Is everything ok at home?

I nodded looking back down.

Ms Wilson. You sure

Me. Yes

We went back in the class I sat back down.

Jr. Hey

He hugged me and I hugged him back. We sat down

Jr. My mom bought are costumes for Halloween

I nodded finishing up my warm up putting my head down. The bell rung and the teacher picked up the warmups.

After school

Coach. No practice but give theses to your parents

It's the team pack. Like sweat suit, cheer bag and more. I went outside getting in the car with Montana.

Montana. How was school?

I nodded looking out the window.

Montana. Say What's wrong with you?

I didn't answer once we got to the house. I got out ringing the door bell. Jazz opened the door letting me in. I went upstairs getting a sweat suit and went and took a shower getting dressed and brushing my teeth.

Jazz. Starr here to get you

I put my phone in my pocket putting my white forces on going downstairs. I left out with Starr. She drove to her house and we went in.

Starr. That's your coustume

I went and put it on. It match good with my shoes I saw jr walk past with his on

We match we went downstairs

Starr. You got a outtie?

I looked down at my belly button and nodded.

Starr. Who did this?

She pointed to the weeps on my legs and arms. I shrugged putting my jacket on. She gave us Halloween baskets.

K3. Come on!

We went outside starr locked the door getting k3 and baby k hand. We started going to houses getting candy.

Lady. Y'all are so cute

I smiled. She gave us a lot of candy and we went to another house. These people giving us a lot of candy. We went to all the Houses in this block and we went back to starr house getting in the car. She drove to other blocks and let us get candy.

Jr. Are buckets are full

We went back to the house. She ordered pizza and we watched movies and are pizza. I hope I get to stay the night. I looked over at them seeing that there still watching tv. I laid back watching tv.

An hour later

I woke up to someone picking me up. I'm to tired to see who it is. I felt the person walking then I heard doors and the person laid me down. And I fell back to sleep.

Just to be woken up by someone picking me up again. I opened my eyes seeing kentrelll. I rolled my eyed. He took me to my room. I got back up getting my cloths. He came back in here with my candy and my phone. Then he left. I went took a shower getting dressed then I brushed my teeth washed my face and laid down going to bed.
