Case 2. Killer VS Killer: Chapter 13. Lunatic, Woman, Wolf

"Wolf?" Zhan Zhao frowned slightly. "Why is there a wolf in the city area?"

The wolf seemed to be hurt when it was thrown against the wall by Bai Yutang. It huddled in the corner of the wall and bared its teeth at Bai Yutang.

Bai Yutang looked at it, then said to the people behind him, "Tell the canine team to bring a cage and ask them to send a man who can catch wolves."

"Let's wait for the person to come before going in." Bai Yutang closed the door behind him.

"Who is it?" Luo Tian suddenly shouted. He turned to look at the other end of the corridor, and saw a figure flash and run away.

Bai Yutang and Luo Tian spun around and chased after the person. Bai Chi and Zhan Zhao quickly followed them.

"Ah..." There was a woman's scream in the corridor. Bai Yutang and Luo Tian rushed out and saw a teenage girl caught by a big black man. The man held the girl's neck, as he nervously retreated to the corner of the wall. He then said to Bai Yutang and the others, "Don't... Don't come closer!"

Bai Yutang frowned slightly and glanced back at Zhan Zhao, as if asking, 'Cat, see if there's something wrong with this man."

Zhan Zhao took a step and looked at the man up and down. Bai Yutang had every reason to suspect that there was something wrong with this man, because he was wearing ragged clothes. However, before it became ragged, it had most likely been a good suit and tie. To be wearing such clothes, the man had to have been a white-collar worker. It was just that he looked like he had been wandering outside for a month, as he was very dirty, and had greasy hair stuck together. There were a lot of bruises on his dark and dirty face. His eyes were wide open as well, making him seem like a manic.

"He's not normal." Zhan Zhao directly uttered.

"Can you persuade him?" Bai Yutang looked at Zhan Zhao.

"I'll try." Zhan Zhao looked at the panicked girl. She was dressed in a school uniform, like a high school student. It was summer vacation time, so she was most likely attending some kind of cram school.

Zhan Zhao took a step forward, looked closely at the madman again, and saw him clutching the girl tighter. However, he was glancing at her from time to time, as if afraid of injuring her. Although it was hard to see his face clearly, the man was around 40 years old. He even wore a ring on his left hand.

"Your little girl is around 10 now, right?" Zhan Zhao suddenly asked.

"Li-little girl?" The man was stunned as he looked at Zhan Zhao.

Zhan Zhao blinked. "By the way, what's her name again?" As he spoke, he motioned to the ring finger on the left hand.

The man glanced down at his ring finger and nodded, "Oh, Xi-Xiao Ting." Then he shook his head blankly and asked, "How do you know? Have you met Xiao Ting? Where is she? I can't find her... I can't find my home."

Zhan Zhao tilted his head and looked puzzled. "Are you that forgetful? Don't you live in that room?" With that, he reached out and pointed behind him. "I saw Xiao Ting just now."

"Ah...Right there? " The man shouted excitedly. "Honey, I'm back! I'm back..." As he spoke, he pushed the girl away and rushed towards the door behind Zhan Zhao. As soon as he arrived, he was grabbed by Luo Tian and pressed against the wall.

The girl cried with fear. Bai Chi went over to comfort her and asked, "Do you recognize this man?" As he spoke, he pointed to the crazy man.

"Let me go, I'm not going with you!" The man shouted. "You have no right to do this. I want to go home, go home!"
