Case 3. Password Killer: Chapter 06. I see

Bai Yutang followed the tall boy out of the dining hall and caught up to him within a few steps at the door. Then, Bai Yutang shouted, "Excuse me, student!"

The boy turned around and was surprised to see that Bai Yutang had chased after him. He wanted to continue walking, but he heard Bai Yutang say, "Do you know Lu Qi?"

"No." The boy said, wanting to quicken his pace. Bai Yutang raised his hand and patted him on the shoulder.

The boy tried to get away, but he still couldn't break free. Looking back at Bai Yutang in surprise, there was a trace of panic in his eyes. Bai Yutang looked the boy in the eye and asked, "Do you know Liu Mei?"

Although it was getting dark, the streetlights on campus were still bright enough for Bai Yutang to clearly see the instant change in the expression on the boy's face. It was obvious that the boy knew Liu Mei.

"Nothing much. I just want to know about Lu Qi and Liu Mei," Bai Yutang said. "You seem to know something."

"I know who you are." The boy looked down and seemed troubled. He looked up at Bai Yutang and said, "I didn't kill Liu Mei."

Bai Yutang was slightly surprised and frowned at the boy. "Why do you think I suspect you killed Liu Mei?"

The boy's eyes twinkled a little. Just then, a boy suddenly ran to them and shouted, "Yang Fan!"

Both Bai Yutang and the boy looked up and saw that the boy was Lu Qi, whom they had seen by the pond.

The first thing Lu Qi did when he ran over was to pull the tall boy called Yang Fan. He said to Bai Yutang anxiously, "It has nothing to do with him!"

Lu Qi's move surprised Bai Yutang, who suddenly had a thought in his head.

Bai Yutang looked back and saw Zhan Zhao standing not far away, touching his chin and looking at the two boys with a smile.

Then, the four went to find a quieter place to talk, but it was difficult. In the end, they had no choice but to go to the school gate and get into Bai Yutang's car.

"Are you two lovers?" Zhan Zhao leaned over the back of the front seat and looked at the two boys.

Lu Qi and Yang Fan looked at each other and nodded.

"What about Liu Mei?" Bai Yutang looked back at them and said, "What's going on?"

Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao looked at each other. "Childhood sweethearts." They both thought to themselves.
