Case 1. An Innocent Murderer: Chapter 08. Catch Me

The appearance of Bai Jintang instantly extinguished the arrogance from the woman who had been aggressive just now. Her overbearing and cruel face turned aggrieved and soft. Even the cry of 'Jintang' was so weak that Gong Sun could not help but get the chills. He turned back and saw the curious faces of Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao. Gong Sun shook his head, took a sip from the glass, and turned back around to watch the show.

Bai Jintang frowned and stared at the woman.

"I'm sorry, Jintang." The woman quickly reached out to wipe the wine stains on his chest.

When everyone turned around, they saw two people walk up slowly. One was a well-dressed, slightly fat old man, and the other was a young man around his thirties.

Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao looked at the old man in a daze-- Wasn't that Pang Ji? However, what puzzled them was that it was only half a year since they last met Pang Ji. Why was he so old? Seeing that his hair was white and his face full of wrinkles, he looked more like an 80-year-old rather than someone in his sixties.

When Bai Jintang looked back and saw that it was Pang Ji, he was also a little confused. Big Ding hurriedly whispered in his ear, "Boss, you have a poor memory. She is Pang Xiaoqin, Pang Ji's daughter. You two have met before."

"Dad, I'm going to see my sister." The young man behind Pang Ji handed his champagne to the waiter then turned around to chase after Pang Xiaoqin.

"I'm going to the bathroom." Fang Wo smiled at the crowd. He lowered his head and kissed Yan Li on the cheek, then said before he left, "I will be right back."

Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao looked at each other. The show was over.

Yan Li smiled at the guests around her. Everyone was consciously aware as they continued to talk and joke around as if nothing had happened just now.
