During the late autumn season, S City gradually became dry and cold. The trees all over the street began to lose their leaves that covered the ground in a thick layer. The maple trees in the flower beds were all red, but the other trees were yellow.

Across the street from a big hall in the downtown area was a bar. It was a rare bar that only opened during the day.

The bar's cocktails seemed to be very famous throughout S City, as well as fruity drinks that looked like cocktails. They had exquisite Western-style pastries, and the bar itself had an elegant interior environment, attracting a lot of young couples.

In the seat by the window was a woman in red. She was very beautiful, different from the innocent and cute little girls who went in and out. She was dressed in red from head to toe and had a good figure. She had big wavy black hair, white face and charming facial features. Although she sat in a very inconspicuous corner, she attracted a lot of attention, especially the men who went in and out. They didn't have any thoughts towards her, and instead just simply enjoyed their view.

The woman was holding a tall red glass with red liquid that was rich and bright like blood. This was the bar's signature cocktail, the Bloody Mary. It was hard to describe, but somehow this really suited the woman.

Ignoring the admiration and sparkling eyes around her, the woman seemed to be in a daze with her wine glass, looking at the direction of the bar counter.

Following the direction of her stare, people saw a young man sitting in front of the bar counter. On a closer look, it was easy to understand why the woman stared at him in such a trance. He was a very attractive man.

He was a handsome yet somewhat devilish man, with slightly long hair that seemed to be casually styled. He was wearing a white jacket and white jeans. He seemed to be just sitting there passing the time, looking at the bar's menu in one hand and drinking a peppermint drink similar to tequila in the other.

The blue liquid in the transparent cup reflected the simple yet lavish platinum ring on his ring finger. People sighed as they thought about how all good men were taken.

The bartender standing behind the counter poured a beautiful glass of rainbow wine into a tall glass and handed it to a hot-looking woman beside him with a charming smile. It was a pity that the woman's eyes were on the man in white next to her, as she did not pay any attention to the bartender.

After sending the guests away, the bartender wiped the table with a dishcloth, went to the counter and rested his head in his hands. He said to the man in white, "Captain, I'm a good citizen now. Why don't you leave me alone? Don't come and steal all the attention."

Drinking at the bar was Bai Yutang. He had the day off, so he came to the city with Zhan Zhao, who went to the big hall to listen to a speech by a world-class psychologist. Bai Yutang could not understand such speeches, as they liked to turn the very simple truth into something that humans could not understand. In his opinion, scholars and experts all had language barriers. Bai Yutang came out first and told Zhan Zhao that he would wait in the bar. Later, he and Zhan Zhao had something to do in the evening. Today was Zhan Zhao's birthday and tomorrow would be Bai Yutang's. He was going to order a cake and buy a bottle of good wine. At midnight, they would go back to celebrate their birthday together. This had been their habit for many years, as they had spent almost all their birthdays together. In this bar, there were the best cake makers and the best wine.

The bartender in front of him was a man named Su Min. He used to be a gangster and was working for a drug dealer. At that time, Zhao Hu went undercover and destroyed his boss's drug cartel. Su Min was also imprisoned for half a year. After he got out of prison, he had no source of income and was about to go back to his old life again. Zhao Hu had made friends with him before, so he lent Su Min some money to start a small business. However, Zhao Hu's ability was limited. In the end, Bai Yutang found out and put together some money with Zhan Zhao to give him. Su Min bought the storefront with a friend and started a bar. Because one of them was good at making wine and the other at pastry, business bloomed instantly. Later, Su Min returned all the money, and now he was a small boss. People from SCI would sometimes visit the bar.
