Bao Sir drove a big jeep with Gong Sun sitting at the front next to him. Zhan Zhao held Lilia in his arms and sat in the back seat with Bai Yutang and Bai Chi.

"Bao Sir, why is it getting more and more remote?" Gong Sun asked Bao Sir. "Also, why are you not telling us where we're going?"

Bao Sir looked at him helplessly, then saw four pairs of curious eyes in the rearview mirror. "I can't explain it clearly. You'll know when you get there."

Everyone looked at each other, while Lilia yawned in Zhan Zhao's arms. She seemed a little confused, as she swung her tail and began to lick her fur before sleeping.

They drove all the way to the road on the outskirts of S City. At the moment, it was dark outside. Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao looked at each other. Bai Chi felt that the night wind was a little cold, so he pulled his collar closer and asked, "Bao Sir? Are we going to a grave?"

Bao Sir glanced at him, stopped the car helplessly and said, "we're here."

Everyone looked at each other. They saw the gloomy suburban roads and the dark woods.

Bao Sir held a cigarette in one hand and a flashlight in the other. Then, he gave Gong Sun a flashlight and said, "come with me."

They were all dumbfounded. When they got out of the car, Gong Sun calmly stopped Bao Sir, who was about to enter the woods, and said, "wait a minute."

Bao Sir stopped and looked at him in confusion. Gong Sun squinted at Bao Sir, reached out and pinched his face.

Bao Sir rubbed his face and looked at Gong Sun, unable to laugh or cry. Gong Sun looked at his fingers and found that there was no black paint and there was no sign of loosening skin. Zhan Zhao hugged the cat and leaned over. "He's real?"

"Stop messing around." Bao Sir glared at the two men. "Come with me!" With that, he took the lead in going into the woods with a flashlight.

The others looked at each other, then quickly followed.

Bao Sir walked in front, while Zhan Zhao and Bai Chi walked next to Gong Sun. Bai Yutang followed them with a flashlight.

As they walked forward, they heard an animal's cry in the distance and a strange purring sound. Zhan Zhao glanced at Bai Yutang, then at his holster.

Bai Yutang felt helpless, as he pulled out the gun and held it in his hand.

After a few more steps, the sound became clearer. It sounded like a dog barking.

Everyone looked at each other, then walked for a while longer. Then, a light could be seen in front of them along with voices.

Plucking away the last small bush, things began to light up before their eyes. They saw a huge clearing in the middle of the forest, with a bonfire burning in the middle. There were two tents, a barbecue grill beside the bonfire, and many people already sitting there.

The twins were grilling things at the barbeque.

Zhao Zhen, Bai Yunwen, and Bai Chi's dad Bai Feng sat together and chatted while drinking beer. It was unknown what Zhao Zhen said, but it made the other two laugh. Next to them lay Li Siben and a huge black dog that looked like the legendary Tibetan mastiff.

On the other side, Zhan Qitian and Bai Jintang were sitting on the ground chatting with beer in their hands. Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang's moms were helping the twins prepare ingredients for the barbecue.

Bao Sir walked over, as Bai Yunwen looked up at him. "Why so late?"

Bao Sir shrugged. "There was work." With that, he went over and patted Bai Jintang on the shoulder, then sat next to him and Zhan Qitian.
