Case 3. Password Killer: Chapter 05. Dining Hall

"The dining hall?" Zhan Zhao asked with interest. "Do you want to go to the small stalls or the big dining hall?"

Bai Yutang said helplessly, "Who knows if there are small stalls here or not. It's not like our past. Let's go to the big dining hall first." With that, he dragged Zhan Zhao, who was looking around for the stalls, towards the big dining hall.

It was already past six in the evening, so the dining hall was filled with people. However, there were no que as the students had already bought their meals. They were all currently eating and chatting at the tables.

Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang walked into the dining hall.

Normally, a college girl would not know how many people there were in this university, or how many teachers, but she would definitely know about all the good-looking men.

As soon as Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang entered the dining hall, the eyes of the girls who were used to staring at handsome boys were immediately focused on them. When Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang went to the reception desk to buy meal tickets, all the girls began to whisper, "Which department are they from?"

"I've never seen them before. Are they new?"

"They don't look like students. Could they be new teachers?"

The girls began to get excited, as they stared with their eyes wide open. They kept whispering to each other about Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang, wanting to know who they were. A boy who was asked by his girlfriend said with dissatisfaction, "They're definitely not from our school. They might be students from another school or are just here to eat."

"How do you know?" Asked his girlfriend.

"I'm from the Sports Department. The one in white looks like he's good at sports. If he's from our school, I would know." The boy said in annoyance.

"Maybe he's a freshman!" Some girls asked.

"Doesn't seem like it... The one in the blue sweater looks like a teacher to me."

"You're right..." The girls looked at each other and said, "Could they be new teachers? If I know what they teach, I can attend their lectures!"

After entering the dining hall, Bai Yutang first looked around and glanced at the diners. Then, he paid for the meal tickets at the reception desk. On the other hand, Zhan Zhao was still looking for a small stall that sold fried dishes. Sure enough, he saw the words 'Fried Stall' at the top of the last window. Zhan Zhao immediately became excited, as he pulled Bai Yutang, "Xiao Bai, there."

Bai Yutang smiled helplessly and nodded as he followed Zhan Zhao.

When Zhan Zhao looked inside the window, a middle-aged woman in a white chef's uniform asked, "What would you guys like... to eat?" Most kitchen ladies were tough people, but when she saw Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang, her tender maternal instinct immediately appeared as she asked with a smile, "Are you guys new students here? What would you like to eat?"

Zhan Zhao thought about it and asked, "Do you have any sweet and sour eggs?"

Bai Yutang smiled behind Zhan Zhao. He remembered that back when they were at university, they had gone to the dining hall one day very late at night. All the food was almost gone, and there were only fried eggs left in the stir-fry stall. Bai Yutang had asked the cook to chop up the fried eggs with spring onions and stir-fry them in oil. Then, to add sweet and sour sauce, just like stir-fried Sweet and Sour Spareribs. Afterwards, he asked the cook to add onions and minced meat.

When the cook got acquainted with them, she had really cooked the dish according to what Bai Yutang asked. Zhan Zhao would eat it with a large bowl of rice. From then on, the eggs had a special place in his heart, and he would often ask the cook to make it for him. Later, after they graduated and went abroad, they forgot about this dish. Today, Zhan Zhao had suddenly remembered, so he was craving the eggs. That was why he asked the kitchen lady to cook sweet and sour eggs with spring onion.
