We're sitting in Stiles' Jeep while we plan to follow Parrish. It's probably an appalling idea that we could only think of, but that's the way it is with most of them. Scott's phone rings because he gets a text from Argent, who suspects where Hellhound is headed. "He's headed to the school."

Liam leans forward between the two front seats. "Why's Parrish headed to the school?"

Scott reflects, then says carefully: "It's not Parrish... At least, not right now."

I still can't fathom how, if he transforms, he can't remember anything. If this was happening to me, I don't know what I'd do.

"Okay, why's a Hellhound going to the school?"

Stiles laughs sarcastically. "'Cause he's got a yearning for higher education?"

I give him a look. "Really, Stiles? Can't you put your sarcasm somewhere in this moment?"

He sighs. "Liam, the Hellhound's at the school, so we're going to the school. Okay?" he presses his foot on the pedal so we can be in school as soon as possible.

I lean back on the seat and look at the hand where the man from Eichen House bit me. It's completely healed as if nothing had happened before, but I still can't shake that feeling.

I turn my head out of the window and notice we're already pulling up in front of the school. I'm not sure if we were that close or I thought for that long.

We get out of the car quietly and Liam comes out last, so he has to close the door. But he slams it louder than he should. All three of us turn to him because it made a noise. Stiles gives him a look in which he reproaches him for hurting a Jeep.

He scratches his neck because he feels embarrassed. "Sorry."

We go to the school side by side, and suddenly we see Argent looking around rather anxiously.

"Where's Parrish?" Scott looks around us and you can see from our attitudes that we're all uncomfortable being here.

"I lost him. He's moving too fast," he sighs, rubbing his forehead as if to say it's his fault for losing it.
