ROBIN AND SAVANNAH WALKED into Starcourt with smiles. It was the first day for Savannah but Robin had started working here when it had first opened.
Robin taught the girl the basics before they opened, once they did a boy with brunette hair in a perfect swoop came running in, wearing the same outfits as Savannah and Robin. "Uh, hi." He waved standing in front of the girls awkwardly. "Uhm, I'm Steve Harrington. Got a job here." He explained. The girls nodded before turning and looking at each other. "What do we do?" Robin asked. Savannah shrugged. "I'm not the one who has been working here," She pointed at Robin. "you are, Rob."
The short haired girl sighed but turned to Steve. "So, uhm, basically you just scoop ice cream and decorate them in whatever the customer wants." She explained quickly. Steve nodded. "Oh, and always wear the hat." She motioned to her head and Savannah's. "Shop policy."
Steve sighed but put the hat on. "I'll watch you both for the first day, and everyday after that since we are working together." Robin shrugged, wrapping a arm around Savannah making her smile. "Hey, your the new kid, right? The one with the kids." Steve asked, pointing to Savannah, she nodded. "Is that the only thing people care about? That I have kids." She asked. Steve shook his head. "No, no, no. I mean- It's just." "I'm messing with you. Yes I'm the new girl with the kids."
The boy nodded, letting out a relieved sigh. "Yeah, uh.. where are you from?" He asked. Savannah gave an unsure look to Robin. "California." She answered. "My name is Savannah Lockeheart, by the way." She changed the subject quick. Robin nodded, understanding before pointing to herself. "Robin Buckley."
The trio was quiet for a second, they awkwardly stared at each other. Robin broke the quietness but clapping her hands together. "Okay, let's get you behind the counter, it starts to get busy soon." She opened up the counter so Steve could come in. "Place your things in the back which is where you can also take your break." She instructed.
