It was the day after Christmas and it was as if all the things that happened these last few weeks were finally getting to you, with a sigh you leaned against the wall of the alleyway 'Why is Kisaki so obsessed with taking over Toman?' You had been trying to find out about his next move but the bastard was eerily quiet after what happened in the church 'He wanted Yuzuha to kill Taiju so he would have something to control Hakkai with huh' you rubbed your tired eyes "So fucking annoying" You flinched when you heard a trashcan fall and heard a familiar voice.

A voice that you came to despise the first time you meet him, slowly you approach the darkest part of the alleyway while hiding yourself "What the fuck are you? A rat?" You deadpanned when you saw Hanma holding a dirty chihuahua up so he could stare at the little thing "What are you doing with that animal?" You pointed at Hanma "Foxie" he grinned "I'm not doing anything" you scowled "I'm talking with the dog!" He stared at you in silence for a few seconds before covering his mouth so he wouldn't laugh, using his other hand to hold the chihuahua against his chest.

He approached you "So this is a dog?" You reached over and pat the small dog's head "Yeah" You tilted your head as the dog stared at you and Hanma in silence "I always thought chihuahuas would be louder since everyone calls them little demons" Hanma held the dog with both of his hands and raised it once again "Maybe this one learned that sometimes they need to be quiet when living in the streets?" You nodded "Would make sense, or they just got treated badly by their lost owner" you looked at the dog's belly, they looked so frail "Come with me"

"Stay here" You turned and went into your house, after making sure there was no one here you pulled Hanma inside "Gimme the dog" he sat on the couch and gave the chihuahua to you "I'll be back in a few" you went to the bathroom and cleaned the small dog, you dried them and held the chihuahua with the towel "Here Hanma, hold them" You gave Hanma the dog and went to the kitchen.

Hanma looked at the chihuahua on his lap and then at the kitchen doorway where you had disappeared into before turning back to the dog and grinning "I think I'll keep you" You came back holding a small bowl with food in it "Why are you grinning" you scowled at Hanma and set the bowl on the floor so the chihuahua could eat "I'll be keeping the dog" you picked the dog up and set them in front of the bowl "Do you have a name for them yet?"

"Rat!" You deadpanned at him "Rat?" "Yes" you sighed and held Rat up so you could see their gender "it's a boy" "Rat it is then!" You set him down again so he could go back to eating and ran your hand through his fur "Would you give him a different name if he was a girl?" "No" you shook your head with a sigh "There's no use in arguing with you..." He chuckled, it seemed as if he liked bothering you.

After Rat finished eating you grabbed the bowl and went to the kitchen to put it in the sink, you came back and picked the dog up "Come on" you walked to the door and Hanma followed "Kicking me out already?" You made sure you had your wallet before looking back st him "We'll take Rat to the vet and I'll buy some things for him" he makes an 'ohh' sound before walking beside you.

You walked out of the vet with Hanma beside you, he was holding Rat "It's a good thing that there's nothing wrong with him" Hanma hummed "Now let's go buy some things for Rat" "Like what" you listed on your fingers "Food, two bowls, collar, leash..." You looked to the side "Toys" you nodded "Yeah that's it" you smiled and reached over to pet Rat "He's so well-behaved"

After buying the things for Rat, Hanma, set him down so he could walk and you two spent some time like that "If you need help with anything concerning Rat you can just tell me" Hanma looked into your eyes with a grin "Can I get your number then?" You scowled "Only because of Rat" he pulled out his phone "Fair enough" you gave him your phone.

While walking with Hanma and Rat you failed to see the guys approaching you two "[Name]?!" You blinked and turned around "Oh, hello Hanagaki" Chifuyu glared at Hanma who surprisingly had a blank face "What are you doing with him?" Chifuyu reached over for your hand but stepped back once Rat tried to bite him "Rat calm down" you kneeled so you could pet the small dog "Since were already done I'll be going now" you stood up once again "Bye bye Foxie" "Don't call me that"

Hanma picked the chihuahua up and turned to walk away from you and the boys, Chifuyu looked at you "What were you doing with him?" With a yawn you replied "Was helping him with his new dog" he hummed while Takemichi just stared at you in silence "Something wrong Hanagaki" before he could reply his phone started going off "Hina? Alright I'll be there in a few" he hang up and looked at you and Chifuyu "I gotta go" you nodded "Bye Takemitchy" "Bye Chifuyu"

As soon as Takemichi arrived Hinata pulled him into her room "Sit down, I need to have a talk with you..." Takemichi gulped and did as told "I love you Takemichi but...
