You were out to buy a new yukata for a festival you would attend with Takemichi and Hina later today, Eli was with you and you took that opportunity to take her to the hairdresser, she had asked to cut her hair after all.
"Are you sure this is okay?" The "blonde" girl looked up at you with a frown "Mhm, you want to cut it short don't you?" She nodded "But won't mom get angry?" With a head shake you replied "Nah, don't worry about it"
After getting her hair cut you two went back to looking for yukatas, you decided to go with a blue yukata with brighter colored blue flowers and a pink belt.

While Eli choose something similar to what Mikey usually uses but in a dark blue color.
"Shall we go home now?" You looked down at Eli who held onto your right hand "hmm.. Can we get ice cream?" You chuckled "Of course"
You took her to an ice cream parlor and after paying both of you went to a park, Eli was playing around while eating and you sat a bit far from her.
"Is that [Name]-nee-chan?!" You heard a familiar voice and when you looked around you saw Mana and Luna running in your direction.
You stood up and hugged them before pointing to where Eli was, before they could run off to where your sister was Mitsuya and... Taiju, approached you "Hello [Name]-chan!" Mitsuya smiled and stepped in front of the older Shiba.
"Hello Takashi... I see you made a new friend" Taiju scowled "Ah... Can I talk with you [Name]?" Mitsuya gave you a nervous smiled as he led you away from Taiju.
"What you wanted to talk about?" Mitsuya's back was turned to where Taiju sat on the bench so you kept and eye on him while Taiju watched the kids play.
"You need to understand Taiju's point of view-" you scowled"Understand his point of view? He raised his siblings with violence! Takashi... You-" he held your hands "Yes, I understand where you are coming from, your sister is important to you so you can't understand him but"
"Taiju was a child when he was left in charge of his siblings he didn't know better" you frowned "But Takashi, beating a child and- and saying that it was discipline... Thats not how a child is supposed to be raised"
"Please [Name], just give m- him a chance alright?" You looked away from Mitsuya with a frown "You are friends with Hakkai and Yuzuha... And know what they went through so if you accept him... Alright" he smiled "Thank you [Name]-chan"
You smiled as you noticed a scowling Taiju lower his head so Luna could put a flower crown on top of it.

You got back home and was immediately tackled by Kazutora "Kazuu I know you were worried but please let me go before you break my bones..." He stepped back and gave Eli a headpat "sorry..." You smiled "Dont worry"
You went to your room with Eli and Kazutora following you "Oh yeah I forgot to ask" you turned to the teen who stood beside Eli "Do you have a yukata?" He nodded "Great, you'll be going to the festival with us later" he frowned "Do I really have to?"
"Mhm, I won't let you stay here all alone on new years" he sighed and turned away, but even so you could spot the small smile he had.
