It'll Be Fine

I pursed my lips as Sunoo zipped up my bag for me, turning to me with an exhausted look on his face. Once he looked at me I immediately crossed my arms over my chest at him.

"You have to go," he reminded me and I simply shrugged.

"So do you," I stubbornly reminded and he sighed at me.

"You know I can't go. The Doctor's said I should rest some bit, they literally cancelled my flight ticket," he reminded and I let out a small huff, "hey..." he trailed off softly before wandering over and cupping my face in his hands, tilting it up to look at him, "I'll still be here when you get home."

"But you'll be lonely," I reminded him and he immediately shook his head, "Sunoo... you said before you were in the group you were a lonely person, you even felt so in the first few months after our debut. If I leave now you'll just be lonely again."

"You're forgetting something," he shook his head as he sat down beside me and I looked over at him in confusion.

"What?" I questioned.

With a small giggle Sunoo just grabbed my left hand and intertwined our fingers before holding the hand up between us, showing me the small ring that was on my ring finger.

"I won't be lonely now that I've assured you're mine," he pointed out with a small giggle, followed by a few coughs.

"So?" I questioned and pulled my hand back to myself, "we just got engaged yesterday, I should be spending these days with you."

"You should be doing your job," he corrected and I just stared at him, "I get that you want to stay behind and make sure that I am fine and that I am not lonely. You know I'll be here, watching all the content of you guys that I can, and I will specifically be searching up any fancams and pictures of you. I won't be lonely."

"But then I'll call whenever I can," I pointed out and he let out a small laugh before eventually just nodding at me, "and I'll send you goodnight and good morning texts, and-"

"Lily, it's fine," he let out a small laugh at me, "I'm happy as long as you'll be enjoying yourself. Do you know when Sunghoon hyung is coming to pick you up?"

"Uhm... he was to text me," I shook my head quietly.

"I still can't believe you got manager-nim to take your seat so that you and Sunghoon hyung will fly by yourselves," he chuckled and I just shrugged.

"I'm quite used to be flying so I guess it's fine," I murmured and he snickered at me, "but I'll be buying you snacks and all such things when we're there as well. Is there any idol's signature you want?"

"Yours," he replied immediately making me just stare at him, "what? It's literally the only one I want."

"Why would you want my signature?" I questioned in disbelief, "we literally live together... Sunoo you're my boyfriend!"

"Fiance," he corrected and I just nodded at him, "and I want yours because honestly... I'll be able to sell it for a lot."

I glanced at him in disbelief before he just giggled and shook his head at me.

"No, I'm kidding," he assured me, "now you go and get your jacket and be ready for when you get picked up. You stop worrying about me, because you assured that I surely won't be starving and I'll be watching both IT and Encanto one too many times. Oh, and then I'll be looking up what other shortfilms and such you were in."

"Why?" I complained at him and he shrugged.

"I like feeling proud," he excused and I looked at him in disbelief, "what? It's true!"

"I wasn't in any short films," I shook my head at him letting out a small laugh, "you've already seen everything I've done."

"Well... then I'll just rewatch everything once or twice," he shrugged, "oh and I'll have to watch Mimicus, I promised Sunghoon hyung to watch his cameo closely."

"Use it against him," I reminded and nudged his arm, making him nod immediately.

"I plan to," he assured and I carefully placed my palm on his forehead, "I only had a fever yesterday."

"I know... just checking," I sighed and looked over towards my bag.

Quickly I got up and grabbed some things from my box under my bed, pulling out everything I possibly could before just throwing it up on the bed.

"What are you doing?" Sunoo let out a small laugh as I straightened up and grabbed my bag, linking on all of my keychains onto it.

"Any keychain that reminds me of you, just the slightest, is going with me," I pointed out and he hppily giggled as I linked the sun keychain onto my bag after having linked on the small purple-crystal heart, "I'm wearing the cap to the airport then."

"It says... I'll Follow the Sun," Sunoo cutely read and I immediately nodded.

"It's a Beatles song, but it's true," I murmured calmly.

"A fan gave me a fox plush keychain at a fansign... do you want it on your bag as well?" he questioned and I looked up at him.

"A fan gave it to you," I reminded him and he simply nodded.

"But then it's almost like I'm there," he happily grinned before getting up from my bed and walking towards his own room.

I let out a small sigh before brushing my hair out of my face and placing the cap on my head, thumping back down on the bed to wait for Sunoo. Sunoo was grinning widely as he rushed back into the room and put the keychain onto my bag himself.

"It'll be fine, okay?" he questioned once he noticed my disappointed face, "just go and have fun with the others."

"I want you to come with us," I sighed and he hummed before sitting down beside me and pecking my cheek softly.

"Then I demand of you to enjoy the trip and have fun with the others," he remarked and I let out a small laugh.

"You can sleep in my bed if you'd like," I pointed out and he nodded at me.

"Take my brown jacket, I know you like it," he pointed out and I nodded with a small laugh, "or... you could take my sweater?"

"The pink and blue one?" I questioned and he happily nodded, "I like that one."

"Come on then," he urged and pulled me with him into his room, rumaging through the clothes until he found the sweater, "take this off."

He sneered as he pulled off my cap and bunched up the sweater in his hands before pulling it down over my head, a wide smile spreading on his face as my head popped through the neckhole.Once I had gotten the sweater on properly he ruffled off my hair before placing the cap back on my head.

"Li?" a voice called out and I sighed heavily as Sunoo only let out a small laugh at me, "we have to go now."

"Come on, I'll go get your bag," Sunoo urged and pushed me out of the room before rushing back into my own to get my bag meanwhile Sunghoon wandered down the hallway.

"Are you ready to go?" Sunghoon questioned and I let out a small huff before nodding, Sunghoon merely let out a small laugh at me as Sunoo returned with my bag extended in his hands, "I'm pretty sure Sunoo will survive while we're gone."

"And you have to have fun," Sunoo sternly reminded as a small smile lingered on his lips when I grabbed my back.

"And we know you'll miss him, but then Niki is taking you to a convenience store and everything will be fine," Sunghoon added on and I nodded before glancing over at Sunoo.

"Go on," Sunoo let out a happy laugh at me, "it's fine."

Instead of saying anything I just turned to Sunoo and extended my arms, making him immediately pull me into a hug, where I had to tip back my cap a bit to press a small kiss to his cheek. He happily laughed at me before just letting me go and adjusting the cap on my head once again.

"I can go now," I nodded and turned to Sunghoon, who was simply snickering in amusement.

"Come on then," Sunghoon murmured and placed his hand on my back to guide me back out of the dorm and out to the car that would take us to the airport.
