Date? (JJ POV)

"REALLY JENNIFER!! YOU'RE GOING ON A DATE!!!" Alex yelled at me.
"For the last time it's not a date Alexander. Spencer is my friend, if you can't deal with me hanging with my guy friend then I invited you to leave." I said secretly hoping he would leave. No one on he team knew about Alex, he would never hit me but he was defiantly mentally and emotionally abusive.
"You know what J. I think I will. I am sorry but this is not working out for me." While he passed by me he shoved me. Making me fall on to the ground. Now I was angry.
"J.. I'm"
"SHUT UP ALEX. Get out right now" I said half screaming half crying, I cannot believe I just pushed me...
He left in silence.
I cried but I needed to get ready Reid was going to be here in 10 minutes, I am so excited for the game.

I hear his car park I sigh. Look at him sit in his car, he seems nervous. Little did he know I've always loved him. Alex was just a distracting, he could never love a women like me, sure I'm pretty but he probably wants someone with a high IQ like him. Without paying attention I open the door. And almost crash into him, he's so cute when he's awkward. But why is he staring at me? Damn it Gideon why did you do this...

Did you know..." Not today... So I put my hand on his mouth.
Please Spence not today... I..." At that moment I knew I needed comfort I hugged him an cried over Alex. Over the fact that he's gone. He tensed up but let me cry. He's so sweet, kind, cute and geeky, I wish I could tell him I love him.

"JJ what's wrong?" He sounded nervous. Probably from the hug.
"I'm sorry Spence, the guy I've been seeing broke up with me... But never mind lets just go to the game and enjoy ourselves." I smiled at him wiping my tears.
"Oh, I'm so sorry JJ... I'm here for you if you know... You wanna talk or something." He said with a blush.
Why is he blushing? He's so cute when he blushes... Maybe at the end of the night I'll tell him about Alex. But for now I want to enjoy my date with an amazing man.
"Thanks Spence. Let's go!" I told him dragging him to the car.
