Kong's POV

Life has taken a wonderful turn since our marriage, and I couldn't be happier. We have our crazy, fun moments, and of course, the occasional arguments that couples have, but overall, it's been a blast. Arthit has come a long way in managing his worries and finding joy in the little things. He's been taking excellent care of himself and our soon-to-arrive baby, and I'm thrilled about that.

One day, Arthit stood in front of the mirror in our walk-in closet, examining himself. He had been a bit conscious about his weight ever since we found out about the pregnancy, fearing that he might look too chubby for a guy. When he voiced his concerns, I knew I had to tread carefully.

"Umm, Kong, do you think this shirt is a bit tight for me? I think I am gaining more weight!"

I hesitated before replying, "No, baby, I don't see any more weight on your body." Arthit's insecurities about his appearance during pregnancy were something I had to handle with care.

But then, I decided to tease him a bit. I swiftly picked him up in my arms, causing him to shriek in surprise. "Konggg, what are you doing? Put me down."

I couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. "No, and no, you are light as a feather. What the... are you eating enough? You should be gaining some pounds, but you are as light as before."

Arthit protested, "Hahaha, what? Of course, I'm eating. I'm eating like a horse."

I still wasn't entirely convinced, though. I put him down gently and placed my hands on his waist, my eyes locked on his heavily pregnant stomach.

"Baby, I am serious about this. Don't skip a single meal or even your snack time. Do I need to call Mom? I am sure they will be happy to look after your diet and everything."

Arthit vehemently declined, "No, I am fine. I am doing everything I ought to do. You don't have to be worried. I'll take extra care from now on. I promise. No need to call Mom."

I decided not to push further, not wanting to upset him. "Okay, I'll tell Tul to be more careful about your diet, and I'll also monitor you. No questions and discussion on this."

Arthit laughed at my stern tone and then made a request. "The way you talk, it just reminds me of your business mode. But it was hot. And I liked that. Do you always talk like that in your office? Don't do this from now on. I don't think I like you talking to someone while being this hot."

His comment caught me off guard, but I couldn't help but laugh again. Arthit had a knack for surprising me with his remarks.

"Arthit, baby, we're going to our class."

"Oh, yes, I forgot. Yes, let's go."

Just like that, he forgot about his earlier comments and their effects on me. His ever-changing moods and hormones always kept me on my toes.

As we headed to our parental classes, I reflected on how our lives were changing with the impending arrival of our baby. We were committed to learning and preparing ourselves to be the best parents we could be. Although my mother assured us that parental instincts would kick in, we wanted to be fully prepared and self-reliant. Plus, we hadn't shared the news of our pregnancy with anyone yet, as we wanted to keep it private for now.

After completing our private training session, we said goodbye to our trainer. The decision to keep our pregnancy under wraps had been a wise one, as it spared us from the judgment and criticism of those who might not understand our situation. We would reveal the news when the time was right.

"She is very nice. The way she gave us the training, I am sure she is a good mother," Arthit commented as we drove home from the training center. Our trainer had been recommended by my cousin, P May, who is a doctor, and we were pleased with her expertise.

"Yeah, she is. That's why P May recommended her," I replied, reaching for Arthit's hand while driving. I planted a gentle kiss on his hand, and he responded with his sweetest smile.

"I am happy," he said, his cheeks tinged with a hint of redness, radiating happiness.

"I am happy too, love. You make me happy. I love you so much. I don't know how to show it to you, but just know that I will do everything for you to be happy," I expressed, feeling a deep sense of love and affection for him.

Arthit's eyes glistened with emotion, and a single tear rolled down his cheek, but his smile remained. I kissed his hand again, cherishing this precious moment.

"Let's get you some ice cream," I suggested, knowing that changing the subject would prevent any further emotional moments.

"Really? Okay, let's go to that vendor in front of the restaurant beside our company. I am craving that ice cream we tried once for so many days."

"Alright, we'll go there."

"Yayyyy! You are the best," he exclaimed with childlike enthusiasm, and I couldn't help but laugh.

"I know. Aren't I?"
