Analise laid on the hospital bed, clinging onto Daniel like her life depended on it. After everything, she truly felt like she wasn't safe if he wasn't right beside her. She didn't think she'd ever feel safe again unless he was in her presence. The only reason Jordan did what he did was because he knew Daniel wouldn't have been back right away. Even though Bando was there, Bando wouldn't come into the bathroom out of respect for her. Truthfully, Analise wouldn't have called on Bando because she didn't want him to see her like that. She didn't even want Daniel to witness it.
"I see you're putting some weight on. Used to look sick before," Analise heard Jordan say, causing her to whip her head behind her.
"W-what are you doing in here?" Analise asked, taking her hands from under the warm sink water.
"I thought I'd pay you a visit after what you did to me. Leaving to play house with some rapper. I see you're gaining weight, looking happier, and working less." He closed the bathroom door behind him before locking it.
"Jordan, leave me alone. Okay?" she asked, trying to keep her voice firm and confident.
"Baby?" Daniel said, snapping Analise back into reality.
"Hm?" She hummed.
"The doctor is in here. I gotta get up."
She shook her head and gripped on his shirt. "No. You can't leave me."
"I'm not leaving, Promise. I'll be right by ya side, but they gotta check you, ma."
"If she's not ready, then it's okay. This is all on her timing. We have all her clothes and belongings with the DNA, which is already good," the doctor spoke.
"Ma, you were bleeding a lot. Let her take a look. I'll hold ya hand through everything. Do that at least. Please?"
"You so fucking dumb. You got blood all over me," Jordan complained as he pushed her to the hard tiled floors.
"Just go," she sobbed.
"I bet you don't bleed for that pussy ass Harlem nigga!"
