Daniel stood in the bathroom looking at the two Percs in his hand. He felt like there was devil and angel on his shoulder. One telling him to take it while the other reminded him Analise was in the next room getting ready.

While on tour, Daniel didn't last a full week before he broke his sobriety. In his defense, Bando broke his first. Without Analise in his ear, Daniel easily fell back into the life he'd been trying to give up. Both men used the tour as an excuse for their bad behavior, and they agreed to quit the percs completely once the tour was over.

Well, the tour finished last night, and Daniel found himself standing in the bathroom about to pop two to get his day started.

Daniel's relapse was part of the reason he told Analise he wasn't sure if he wanted to be with her. While on tour, Daniel felt like his old self again. The partying, the drugs, the fun, the women, and the lack of stress all made him realize how different his life used to be. Daniel started to miss the life he used to live, and the fear of commitment settled back in because he wasn't ready to give up his life.

At twenty-two, he was getting ready to settle down with one person and have a child. It sounded bizarre when he actually said it aloud. Twenty-two shouldn't have been the age he wanted to settle down at because he had so much more life to live. There would be so much more to come from his life as he climbed the wall to fame, and settling down now could get in the way of it. He was ready to be a father, that wasn't his fear. Settling down with Analise forever was what scared him.

Honestly, Daniel felt lost. He didn't know who he was or who he wanted to be. Daniel struggled to figure out what he wanted and didn't want. In a few months he went from being sure of himself, to not even recognizing himself or understanding what he wanted with life. Due to the fact that Daniel struggled with his emotions, he wasn't sure why depression suddenly overtook him. The only thing he did know was that drugs would always heal any bad emotion he dealt with.

So Daniel decided to listen to the devil instead of the angel and tossed both pills back. He grabbed the bottle of Core water on the bathroom sink, and used it to wash down the pills. After twisting the cap and putting the water bottle down, he took a deep breath before he walked back into the bedroom.

"Can you drop me off at my house before you guys go to the interview?" Analise asked when Daniel walked into the room. "Rae'Lynn is going to install my wig for me today."
