Daniel passed the blunt to Jakiyah and leaned his head on her shoulder. Jakiyah handed the blunt to Bando who sat on the left side of her, then she pressed the space button on the keyboard. Daniel's voice blasted through the studio, filling the silent room with music. Before the song continued, Daniel reached over to the computer and pressed the space button to stop the song.

"What are you doing?" Jakiyah asked.

"Move my part from the front, and see how it sounds with Bando verse," Daniel suggested.

"If she do that, though, ya verse gonna sound long as shit instead of a hook and a verse," Tdot reminded from the couch.

"Oh, you right. Ight," he said, then pressed the space button.

"Stop touchin' shit," Jakiyah said, tapping his forehead.

"Suck my dick," he mumbled. "You my favorite eater, anyway."

"Shut up, please."

Daniel chuckled before he shut his eyes and bopped his head to the song. Daniel, Tdot, and Bando finished making a song about twenty minutes ago. Jakiyah fixed up the song after they added their ad-libs, so now it was time to hear the final product. They had no plans on dropping the song, but they realized how the three of them barely had songs together. Daniel had a couple songs with Tdot and Bando and vice versa. However, they only had one other song with all of them on it, which they recorded last week.

December was a good month for them music wise. They'd spent so much time in The Bronx, they kind of got sucked back into the streets. None of them sold drugs or robbed, but they were always out on the block or by their building. With their recent street activity, the inspiration seemed to flow through them again. People were back to dissing them in songs and mentioning their names, giving them something to make music about.

Daniel's return to the streets made him feel like himself again. He needed this last chance at feeling like his old self since Alani would be coming next month and all of the fun would end. But he understood certain sacrifices needed to be made when a child came into the world, and he was okay with that. Daniel saw December as his last month of freedom to do whatever bullshit he felt he needed to before he actually stepped up to be who Alani needed him to be.
