Daniel sat in his car, looking at his house through his windshield. He'd been sitting for about thirty minutes. By now, even Bando and Tdot had gone inside of the house while Daniel remained seated. The second he went into the house, he'd be faced with the conversation that would either determine the end of his relationship with Analise or the restart. The possibility of either had his nerves all over the place, and he couldn't take anything to ease the anxiety since she asked him to be sober for the conversation.
He knew they were going to discuss everything that happened, but she also stressed how she had news for him. The news was what made him nervous more than anything. Daniel had the tendency to automatically assume the worst possible outcome. As far he knew, what she was about to tell him would ruin his perception of her. Of course, the news could've been something good, but he'd rather assume it wasn't. That way his hopes weren't up or he wasn't taken off guard.
Daniel took a breath before he picked his phone to text her. He wasn't ready, and hoped he could stall off for a little longer to mentally prepare himself.
Text To Promise: you hungry?
Text From Promise: i can go for chick fil a
Text From Promise: maybe i can come with you so we can sit in the car and eat and talk for more privacy
Text To Promise: ight come outside
Having Analise tag didn't give him more time to think, but it would grant them privacy. Without knowing how the conversation would turn out, he'd rather have it with the two of them instead of their friends in the house. Even if his room was on the third floor, there was always the possibility for them to hear. Daniel already felt like Analise spoke too much about the relationship to Kenzo, so he wanted to somewhat eliminate how much everyone knew.
It was their business after all.
Upon hearing the front door close, Daniel looked towards the front door to see Analise walking out of the house. Her curly hair was up in a loose pineapple, and her face bare from any makeup. She didn't even have lashes or lipgloss on like she usually did. A large, royal blue hoodie swallowed her small frame, but he could tell she put some weight on by the roundness of her face. Black biker shorts covered her thighs that'd grown thicker, and black yeezy slides showed off her pink painted toenails. Even in a lounging fit and no makeup, he still found her just as beautiful as she was the first time he laid eyes on her.
