Analise rolled her rolling stool over to her car before plopping down with her palette and paint brush in hand. The hot Texas sun beamed down on her while she picked up where she left off on painting flowers onto her all white Nissan 370Z. To keep herself focused, she had on a pair of AirPod Pros which blasted her playlist into her ears while she worked. She hadn't been able to give much love to her newest vehicle, so she wanted to take away any distractions and at least finish the right side of her vehicle.
Today was the first free Saturday Analise had in months, so she wanted to make use of it. Usually her weekends were spent racing due to the weekend being the only time she could really attend. During the week, Analise worked as an art teacher for various ages and various skill levels. Most of the time, she had no energy for a race after teaching five to six classes a day. That left her the weekends to indulge in her second hobby.
This weekend there weren't any races being held due to a problem at the track they usually raced on. Analise decided against asking too many questions as to what happened because she was grateful for the extra free time. It gave her time to telex and give her cars a little tlc.
Right as Analise moved onto the next flower on her car, she was graced with a kiss on her cheek. Analise pulled her headphones off before she looked up at her boyfriend standing over her. She puckered her lips at him, prompting him to lean down and place his soft lips against hers. After their kiss, Cevyn held out a cold bottle of water to her.
"You can put it on the ground. My hands are full," she said after holding up her paintbrush and palette.
"You're not hot out here?" Cevyn asked while squinting from the bright sun above them.
"Not yet. I probably will be after a good thirty minutes, so I'm hoping to make some progress."
"Want some company?"
Analise smiled. "As long as you won't distract me. I really want to finish this side, babe."
Cevyn threw his hands up in defense. "I'll be good, love. Don't worry. Let me go grab the other stool."
