For the first time since Daniel moved to Bryxton, he finally returned to The Bronx. His first time back was supposed to be for Bando's party, however, he found himself coming earlier than planned. Clarence gave him some time off due to helping out at races. It worked perfect for Daniel since he needed to re-up and he could use some fun. The last time good time he had was at the studio. A few days of fun was long overdue.

When his friends heard of his arrival, they all looked forward to seeing him, especially since it was outside of the studio. They could have fun and hangout the way they did before he moved. He knew his mother would be happy the most since she hadn't seen him since their FaceTime calls. Daniel left Bryxton early in the morning to arrive to The Bronx around eight in the morning to surprise his mother before she went off to work.

After spending some time with his mother, he planned to catch up on a few more hours of sleep, then his friends had a few moves for them. Bando wanted to grab some food, weed, pick up a few bottles, and chill outside the T's like they usually did. Daniel was fine with this, as long as he got to touch a studio at least once while he was here. The next time he'd back down, Analise probably would've been with him. He wasn't sure how much time he would have to be out with her there.

Daniel parked his car on his mother's block around 7:15am. It was just around the time his mother would be waking up to get ready to go to the salon. The sun was slowly coming up, but the streets weren't too bright yet. Most of the street lights were so dim and old, they barely illuminated anything. People's porch lights gave the streets enough light for Daniel to walk through the darkness up his mother's steps.

Daniel found his mother's key on his key ring before sticking them into the door. Once he got inside the building, he closed the door, then walked to her door. With the second key, he let himself into the apartment. Daniel made sure to close and lock the doors behind him before he maneuvered through the dark living room
to get to the kitchen.

The apartment was dead silent, which Daniel already expected. Her alarm normally went off at 7:30 on the dot. There wasn't enough time to make a full breakfast, but he figured he could at least get started before she woke up.

On Daniel's way to the kitchen, he ran into something in the dark. His knee smacked the object, causing Daniel to curse. It felt like pins and needles were sticking in his knee as he bent down to rub it.
