Analise tugged on the bottom of the black dress she wore. Looking in the mirror, she turned to the left and then to the right with a frown on her face. She blew out a frustrated breath as tears started to well up in her eyes. Analise looked down at her growing stomach while tears blurred her vision.

By now, Analise reached month five of pregnancy. She felt like every day her stomach grew and she put on a pound which seemed to bring down her mood. The sudden and constant weight gain made Analise the most insecure she'd ever been.

Aside from the weight, Analise also became insecure because she and Daniel weren't together anymore. With the recent drop of his album and growing fame, he'd barely been around and women seemed to flock to him. Whether it be women flocking to him at the club or commenting over his page, the constant flow of women didn't seem to stop. And Analise constantly compared herself to these girls, inevitably adding to her insecurities.

She never voiced these thoughts to anyone, but they were slowly eating at her each day. Now, standing in front of a mirror with a dress she'd had for years that barely fit, she broke down. Analise sat on the floor with her back against the bed frame and allowed herself to let out all of the emotions she'd kept bottled up.

"Promise?" Daniel knocked on the door before entering.

She sniffled and tried to wipe her face, but the tears kept falling. "Yes."

"Why are you crying, Ana? What's wrong?" he asked, squatting down to be level with her.

"I'm fat and ugly now," she sobbed.

"No, you're not, Promise. What do I always tell you?" He lifted her head up by her chin, so she was looking at him.

"I'm too pretty to be crying," she said through her cries.

"Exactly, so stop crying. You're beautiful, and you're not fat. Your body is gonna change since you carryin' our baby, but that doesn't make you fat or any less beautiful."

"You're just saying that to be nice."

Daniel kissed over her face, which only made her cry even more. Her eyes stung and body shook with each flow of tears that streamed from her eyes.
