"Good. The baby is doing really well, and so am I. The cravings and stomach pain be killing me, though," Analise said, switching on her side.
"I'm so excited for you. You and my son still haven't spoke?" Danielle asked.
Analise blew out a breath. "No. He saw that I posted him, but he said nothing to me. Kenzo said Daniel went off about not caring about me and if I wanted to talk, then I'd reach out. I don't want to go through the whole pregnancy alone, but he's too unpredictable, especially since apparently he's getting higher lately."
"I know, honey, but you have to tell him. You're four months, going on five. By now, I know you want the gender reveal that we've been talking about."
Analise sighed. She wanted Daniel to know about the baby, but she knew he hated her. Even he never said it, his actions were enough to tell it.
Now that a few months had passed since the murder, she realized she overreacted. However, she was pregnant and didn't know, which had her emotions all over the place. Now that she was further in her pregnancy, her emotions weren't as intense and all over the place. With the time away from Daniel and everyone else to think, she realized why he did what he did. And she wasn't angry.
Jordan would never get to terrorize her again. She'd never felt such at peace before. She never had to worry about going out alone and Jordan popping up. Nobody could hurt her anymore now that Daniel got rid of the problem. And he was right. She did try to protect him, but only because if she took further action, she feared what he would do to her in return.
Every day Analise regretted breaking up with Daniel. He truly was the love of her life and the light of her life. She tried to maintain happy since she wanted to be in good spirits for the baby inside of her, but she couldn't help but think of him. Analise thought about Daniel every single day. She wondered how he was doing, if he was eating, how many drugs he took, and if he was getting enough rest. It drove her crazy, yet she couldn't put her pride aside to reach out to him. She had no idea on what to say.
