Y/N Pov.

Lee and the two strangers look at Clementine and I as we stand behind him holding hands. Carley's at the top with us too, and for some reason the guy seems pretty excited to see us.

Lee: What are you three doing up here?

I look at him and shrug.

Y/n: Clem wanted to come up, so we came with her.

He looks at Carley, but I notice she shrugs, too.

Carley: What can I say? They were really convincing.

Suddenly, I hear the new guy speak up again with a lot of excitement in his voice while the lady stands beside him quietly.

Guy: Do you know how long it's been since I've seen kids? Shit! What are your names?

Clementine: (Smiles) Clementine.

Y/n: I'm Y/n.

Lee looks at us and smiles.

Lee: Oh, so he gets to swear?

Y/n: Well he's a stranger for now, so we can't exactly stop him.

Carley walks up beside Lee and she looks at the new woman along with the short guy.

Carley: Nice to meet you, I'm Carley. And you are?

The woman looks at her, but from what I can see, she doesn't look annoyed.

Woman: Christa.

Guy: I'm Omid.

Y/n: (Mind) Omid and Christa? Weird name combination.

I look off the side of the overpass while Christa and Carley speak to each other. Looking out over everything is kind of peaceful. I like how far I can see; even if the old world is gone, doesn't mean this new one can't be pretty.

Omid: Well, this is great. See, things are looking up.

I turn back to the others and I see Christa focus her eyes on Lee.

Christa: You're not their parents. They down there?

Lee: It's that obvious?

Carley: To me.

Lee: And, no, they're not down there.

I look at Christa.

Y/n: My mom and Dad went with Clem's on a trip before, well, y'know. We haven't seen them since the whole "apocalypse" thing started, but we're going to Savannah to find them. That's our plan at least.

Omid: Whoa, sorry to hear about that little dude.

Christa: Must've been hard.

Y/n: Yeah, well, we've had Lee and Carley to look after us.

Christa looks at the two.

Christa: Hmm. What's your story?

Lee smiles and kneels down beside us.

Lee: I came across the kids alone the first day all of this happened. I was actually incarcerated.

He stands back up.

Omid: Sick, do you have any prison tats?

Lee: I didn't make it that far.

Christa looks at Carley.

Christa: And you?

Carley: I was a news reporter for WABE in Atlanta. I came down to Macon to film the Cherry Blossom Festival, and eventually met Lee and the kids in his parent's pharmacy with others. That feels like a long time ago now.
