Three days before Kate's big jump across the sea. Anticipation was at an all-time high. Rai was not looking forward to this trip and Logan was unmotivated by it. The bite on his neck still hasn't healed despite the rest of his wounds healing completely.

-"You should let a doctor take a look at that..."- Naoko eyeballed Logan's neck from behind.

-"It's fine..."- Logan's husky voice vibrated.

-"No it isn't."- Naoko lightly smacked Logan's head.

-"At least it's not getting worse, doesn't look infected or anything."- Kate peeked at it.

-"Can you two just stop? It's fine!"- Logan covered his neck with his hand. Giving both girls an annoyed glare.

-"Aww Logey, don't be like that, we are worrying about you and we care about you, you must know that by now..."- Ivee frowned as she placed a plate of eggs and bacon with toast in front of Logan.

The food Ivee prepared was burnt, but she has improved significantly in her cooking. At least it's not charcoal like before.

-"Now eat up, it's an intense training day for the both of you."- Ivee pointed with two fingers at Kate and Logan.

-"You sound just like mom."- Kate whispered.

-"Good!"- Ivee stuck her tongue out at her and Kate rolled her eyes as she yawned.

Kate sipped on her tea before chowing down, preparing for the bitter burnt pieces to bless her taste buds.

-"Good Morning!"- Rai ran into the kitchen and kissed Kate on the head.

-"Morning, babe, why are you in such a hurry?"- Kate asked as Rai ran passed Ivee on the stove. She threw a slice of toast behind her and Rai caught it with his hand and kept on jogging.

-"I'm not, just preparing myself for training today."- Rai began jogging in place at the entrance.

Kate giggled, covering her chewing mouth with her hand.

-"Who said you would be training with us today?"- Logan coldly asked.

-"Who said I would be training with you today?"- Rai asked back.

-"Oh, here we go."- Kate facepalmed. Expecting Logan to snap back at him but all they heard was silence. Only Rai's steps on the floor and the sizzling of food on the skillet were heard.

-"Huh, well okay then."- Logan closed his eyes and sipped on his coffee mug.

-"See you all later."- Rai jogged out.

-"Kate, let's begin."- Logan said, getting up from his chair.

Kate groaned and leaned back in her chair.

-"So soon? I haven't woken up yet..."-

-"No whining, come."- Logan's voice barked from the hallway.

Logan and Kate began their training with stretches and running.

Once their warm-up was all done, Logan turned to Kate and eyed her panting body.

-"I have seen you levitate before...you remember right?"- Logan's voice was stern.
Kate nodded, still panting.

-"We are going to practice that."- He turned around, facing away from Kate.

-"But, Logan wait, how can you train me in this? You don't know how to levitate yourself."-

-"I can make anything and anyone levitate."- Logan looked back at Kate. -"But you will learn to levitate without my powers."-
