Chapter 212 the unreliable Roger
Niki sat beside the table. Plates of delicious food were placing in front of her, but she had no appetite at all.
She kept shaking her chopsticks in her hand in anxiety.
Roger hadn’t contact her yet.
One day had passed, was it possible that he failed to caught Natalie?
Gina walked over. Seeing that Niki was absent-minded, she cautiously asked, “Miss. Linch, is this meal not to your liking?”
Niki wasn’t in the mood to eat. She gave Gina a careless glance and turned around in silence.
Out of sheer boredom she casually turned on the TV and watched the news.
The voice of the host on the TV came, “Tomorrow, Tory Spears from the Spears Family will hold a medical
conference in the west of Los Angeles.”
“We’d welcome all citizens, especially those with heart diseases. Don’t let the precious opportunity slip
through your fingers.”
“You will have the opportunity to receive Mr. Spears’s personal diagnosis and treatment, which is definitely a
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity…”
The host’s voice continued.
Niki’s originally gloomy face suddenly lit up.
Dr. Spears would be in the west of Los Angeles tomorrow?
Natalie must come as she was always itching to warm up to him!
It was a marvelous opportunity!
Niki quickly took out her phone and dialed Roger’s phone number.
The phone was quickly connected.
She came straight to the point, “did you catch her?”
Roger’s tone was heavy with curiosity, “Catch who?”
Upon hearing this, Niki suddenly stood up. Was Roger playing tricks on her?!
“I asked you to kidnap Natalie yesterday! Have you forgot that?”
Roger finally realized it.
He smiled and said, “Of course not. I remember it.”
“How could I forget what you told me, little princess.”
Roger’s greasy tone disgusted Niki, “then did you get her?”
She had been waiting for his call!
Roger scratched his head and said, “I don’t know either.”
He hadn’t contacted Jaxton after handing over the task to him.
“Don’t worry, little beauty. I have already sent out my subordinates to find Natalie and there will definitely be news today,” Roger was quite confident.
Niki rolled her eyes as she listened to Roger’s ‘declaration”.
He didn’t seem to grind for this!
She needed to handle this matter herself.
Roger was completely unreliable.
Niki pinched her knuckles, saying, “bring her to me as soon as possible, otherwise the agreement is off.”
Then she hung up the phone directly before Roger could reply.
She put her phone aside, got up and went to her bedroom.
