Scenario: Hedwig having to take care of Maude and Diana for the day

~-~

Since Hugo was usually the one that did the grocery shopping - mostly because he's very patient, especially with the long lines - Hedwig was dragged out of the house by Judas to do the shopping. The worst part for him? He had to take Maude and Diana with him. He only had to grab a few things anyways, so it shouldn't be a long trip. But after that he had to figure out a gift he had to get for Juliet since her birthday was coming up. Couldn't anybody else just take these two kids with them?

Hedwig randomly threw a can of corn into the cart, pushing it forward but making sure to not hit Maude who was walking in front of it - meanwhile Diana was hanging onto the side of the cart with one hand. Hedwig mentally appreciated that since he didn't want to limp around the whole store, trying to catch these two. He slowed down and noticed Diana starting to itch her arm. "What are you doing? You've been scratching ever since you got into the car." Diana kept scratching, not meeting his gaze. "I-I have ec-ze... eczema-" Hedwig backed up into one of the shelves, looking Diana up and down. "ECZEMA?! OH MY GOD!" The redhead looked back down at her red and blistering arm, an embarrassed look on her face. Maude stopped walking and climbed into the cart when Hedwig wasn't paying attention. "How do I make it stop itching?" She looked up at Hedwig for advice, but he shrugged. "I-I don't know! Scratch it or give it to Haytham when he gets back home from work!" When Hedwig turned around to see what he bumped into, a smile came upon his face.

"Hey! Beans! You like beans?" He grabbed the can off the shelf and showed it to Diana and Maude. They both stared at him. What were they supposed to say? He sighed and tossed it around in his pale hand. He raised it high above his head and slammed it down onto the ground. Diana jumped and gave the can an unreadable look. "This shit is too expensive. So, if you dent the cans, and show it to the workers, they let you get this for free." Hedwig tossed it into the cart and plucked another one off the shelf. He carefully handed it to Diana and pointed down at the floor. "Go ahead!" He urged, taking another one and throwing it down at the floor. She hesitated, but did it anyway when he gave her the nod of approval.

"That's it Diana! Throw that shit-"
"Hello Hedwig."

The older Bishop brother watched Haytham turn the corner and head into the same aisle they were in. He thought Haytham was at work! When the teenager noticed the two girls, he smiled at them. "Do you guys remember me?" Hedwig grabbed Haytham's arm, shaking his head. Haytham sneered and pulled his arm away. "Hey, why aren't you at work?" Hedwig placed a hand on his hip, his eyes narrowed. "Because the senior home ran out of cornflakes so I came to get some." Maude grabbed a can of green beans and threw them into the cart as hard as she could, but the brothers didn't notice. "So what's this I heard about you offering to help Juliet with her laundry?" Haytham raised a brow as he adjusted his basket on his arm. Hedwig chuckled. "Did she say I was doing laundry with her? 'Cause, uh, where we come from, it's called doing 'the hippity-dippity'-" Haytham went wide eyed, took a quick glance at the girls, before hitting Hedwig on his bad leg with his basket. "OW!" Diana snuck away from the cart and walked up to Haytham, showing him her arm whilst itching.

"I got eczema." Haytham bent down to her level and gently took her arm. "Oh? Well then, you shouldn't scratch it, sweetheart." He dug into his basket, pulling out a frozen bag of green beans. He gave her a reassuring smile and gently placed the bag of beans onto the itchy path on Diana's arm. "Is that better?" Hedwig looked between the two. "Thank you!" Haytham nodded and took the beans away, placing them back into his basket. "I didn't know you knew anything about kids. I thought you were a little boy who worked at a senior home." Diana crouched down under Hedwig's black trench coat and crawled to the shelf behind him, grabbing another can of beans. "It's not senior home stuff, stupid. It's called common sense. Scratching spreads rashes." Hedwig 'oh'd and pointed at Haytham with a shaky finger. "Oh! So this is something you learned when everyone thought you got that STD after spending the night at Samuel's house!" A woman who was in the same aisle gave the two a disgusted look and moved onto the next aisle with haste.

Haytham shook his head at Hedwig with disbelief written all over his face. Diana crawled out and threw the can of beans onto the ground. Haytham jumped and tilted his head. "What is she doing?" Hedwig gritted his teeth with a smile. "She's shoppin'." Maude leaned over the cart, causing Haytham to look her way. "Hedwig said that 'this shit is too expensive'." Diana nodded to confirm the information. Haytham bit the inside of his cheek and adjusted his soft light green trench coat and his lace white scarf. "That's real good, Hedwig. See you girls later." The soft clicking of Haytham's brown loafers hitting the floor caused Haytham to shake his head. His younger brother always dressed like he was from the '30s.

"Hey, you stay away from the men's workout section, I heard there's some really cute guys over there!" Haytham glanced over his shoulder and gave Hedwig the finger.
