How did Felix know he was there?

   "What?" Yeji questioned.

Felix glanced at Hyunjin who was sitting in the back, "Five years ago," he said.

Hyunjin stood up and walked down the steps to Yeji and Felix.

"I was there five years ago," Hyunjin said.

  "You don't know everything,"

"There isn't much to know. We broke up you moved, I moved, you had the baby and never called,"

Yeji looked at her brother like he had three heads. Why the hell was he acting like a jerk?

Felix pursed his lips, "I never had the babies. I was going through a miscarriage that morning. Yunjin took me to the hospital. The day after it all I went into emergency surgery, I can't have kids anymore. I never told you cause well you know what happened," he snapped.

Yeji's mouth fell open and Hyunjin complete stilled.

"Yeji, thank you for having me as your guest speaker, I'll see you tomorrow,"

Without another word from the siblings, Felix left.

What were either of them to say?

One thing was blatantly obvious, guilt was eating away at Hyunjin's entire being.

Guilt for what he said today and five years ago.

Guilt for not realising.

And guilt for not being there.

However, there was also so much pain, because while he had known that he lost Felix, he didn't realise that he was also losing something else.

"Hyunjin… he said babies as in plural," Yeji said softly.

Hyunjin closed his eyes and took a breath.

It was like a volcano of bubbling emotions. Guilt, pain, anger. There were so many emotions and Hyunjin didn't know what to do.

"I have to tell Vi," Hyunjin said.

Yeji took a breath, "Are you sure? Maybe Felix should be the one to do it. I know you may not agree, but he'd explain it better,"

"I don't even know. She hasn't mentioned it since that day, but it doesn't mean she hasn't missed them,"

   "She was there?" Yeji questioned.

Hyunjin bit his lip and nodded.

Five years ago

"Why did you say that to Lixie?"

It was the first thing Hyunjin heard when he and Viola got in the car.

   "Vi, please," Hyunjin muttered.

Viola's brows drew together, "You need to go back," she said as Hyunjin began pull out of parking lot.

   "Viola, please just stop,"

"No, you know something is wrong. Why are you leaving?"

    "Stop, vi,"

   Viola crossed her arms.

   Later that night

"It's time for bed Viola," Hyunjin said.

  "No,"

Hyunjin sighed and kneeled down to her level, "Vi, what is going on?"

"You need to go back to, Lixie. Something is wrong," Viola said.

    "Viola, bedtime,"

Viola sighed, "You're going to regret not being there later,"

The girl went to her room.

    Hyunjin sighed and stood up.

Pursing his lips, he pulled out his phone and dialled Felix's number.

     "Hello?"

  It was Yunjin.

"Ms. Huh, is Felix there?" Hyunjin asked.

"You shouldn't be calling," she said.

"I just want to talk to him,"

"Now isn't a good time, Professor Hwang,"

    "Is he okay?" Hyunjin questioned.

"No, he is heartbroken and in a lot of pain, you hurt him a lot and it just… it's a lot for him right now," Yunjin stated.

Hyunjin was about to speak but he heard another voice.

"Hey, I brought you the clothes,"

   Declan.

    "Of course," Hyunjin muttered.

     "What?" Yunjin said.

   "Declan is there?"

Yunjin clicked her tongue, "Don't act jealous after what you said,"

"Mr. Lee, Doctor Lynn will be in, in just a moment,"

"Okay," Felix's voice was soft in the background.

Hyunjin's brows drew together, "Are you at the hospital? Is Felix okay? Is the baby okay?"

"Hyunjin, it doesn't concern you anymore and you made it clear to Felix that you don't even think that the baby is yours,"

   The brunet pursed his lips.

Pulling the phone away from his ear he hung up.

He did say something like that, didn't he? So why did it hurt so much hearing it said back to him?
