I continued cleaning the floor with a mop, trying to wrap up my shift. Glancing at the clock, I saw that it was already 8:30 PM.

"Phew, almost done with the shift," I mumbled to myself, wiping sweat from my brow.

"Nakasone-san."

Marina's voice called out to me, and I turned to see her holding a stack of flyers, which she promptly placed on the reception desk.

"Yes, Marina-san?"

"Do you... mind delivering these flyers?"

"Sure, but where should I take them?"

"Hmmm... Wait here," Marina replied, grabbing a pen and paper. She began to draw something, and I couldn't help but sneak a slight peek.

It seemed like she was creating some sort of map?

Marina handed me the paper with the map and said, "I want you to follow this map for directions."

I took the paper and examined the map, finding it a bit confusing. However, I managed to identify some landmarks that might help me navigate.

"I see," I said, trying to hide my uncertainty. "Thank you for the map, Marina-san." I offered her a grateful smile.

"Hehe, no worries!" Marina responded with a cheerful thumbs-up.

I hesitated for a moment, realizing that the map might not be enough to find my way to the destination. "Marina-san, I'm asking again, but where exactly am I delivering these flyers?"

"Hm? did I forgot to mention that? You're going to deliver them to a penthouse."

A penthouse?

I looked at one of the flyers, noticing the name "Raise a Suilen" on it.

"Raise... a Suilen," I repeated, trying to recall if I had heard of them before.

"Yep, they're also a girls' band."

"Alright, I'll be delivering these flyers then."

"Thank you! Also you don't have to come back here once you're finished."

"Eh? Really?"

She nodded. "Yes, once you're done with the delivery, you can just head home."

"O-Okay... Thank you," I said, bowing politely before picking up the stack of flyers and heading out of CiRCLE to complete my delivery.

As I followed the familiar landmarks on the map Marina had provided me, a thought crossed my mind.

"Actually... Now that I think about it," I mumbled to myself, "wouldn't it be better if I just called a taxi and showed this map to the driver?"

The map was a bit confusing, and I didn't want to risk getting lost or taking too much time to find the penthouse.

Plus, using a taxi might be a more efficient way to reach my destination. So, I took out my phone, found a taxi app, and requested a ride.

A few minutes later my taxi arrives, I breathed a sigh of relief as I settled into the taxi.

Showing the driver the map, I explained, "I'm not very familiar with the area, so I'm relying on this map to get to the penthouse."

I relaxed in the backseat, grateful that I had opted for the taxi. The driver navigated the streets with ease, and soon, we were on our way to the penthouse.

"Here we are, Sir," the taxi driver announced as we came to a halt.

I stepped out of the taxi, feeling a bit out of place among the luxurious surroundings.

The building towered above me, and I couldn't help but be awed by the opulence of the penthouse. It was clear that only the wealthy lived in such a place.

With the flyers in hand, I made my way to the entrance of the building.

Oh wait... there's an intercom here but what should I say...

I put down the stack of flyers that were weighing down my arms and began to ponder what I should say when using the intercom.

Deep in thought, trying to figure out what to say but then a sudden voice snapped me out of my reverie.

"Hm? What are you doing here? Who are you?"

Startled, I turned around to find a girl's face right in front of mine.

"Whoa, you're really close!" I blurted out.

The girl stared at me, her eyes narrowing suspiciously. "What are you doing here? Who are you?"

I quickly tried to explain myself. "I'm not a suspicious person, I promise!"

She raised an eyebrow. "But that's exactly what a suspicious person would say first."

I couldn't help but feel a bit flustered by her directness.

"U-Uhm! Wait! Before that... Do you mind stepping back?"

"Hm... Okay."

I felt a sense of relief as the girl finally took a step back, allowing me some personal space.

I looked at her up and down, Her hair, streaked with pink and light blue, hung down to her waist, and her light red eyes looked less suspicious now.

No no, More importantly. I should introduce myself.

"My name is Nakasone Kyo, a part-timer at CirCLE. I came here to deliver these flyers."

She looked at me with a slightly apologetic expression. "Oh, I see... Sorry for treating you as a suspicious individual." She bowed in apology.

I waved off her apology, but curiosity got the better of me. "By the way, why are you holding a bag of jerky?"

A meat lover perhaps?

"For starters... Why don't you meet CHU²-sama first?"

H-Huh? CHU²?
