And with that, I went back home, just walking and strolling around the town to kill time.

The smell of freshly baked bread wafted into my nose as I looked at the bread displayed in the window.

I wanted to buy some, but I was trying to save money. "Maybe next time," I thought to myself.

Eventually, I arrived back home, opened the door, and turned on the lights.

"I'm home..."

There was no reply, but I noticed that the bathroom lights were on.

"Nee-chan, are you there?"

Still, there was no response.

I slowly walked over to the bathroom door and noticed my sister sleeping while brushing her teeth.

"Nee-chan."

"Uwah! You scared me! Since when did you come back!?" she exclaimed.

This girl is my sister, Nakasone Azumi, a 2nd-year college student. She continued to brush her teeth as I leaned against the wall.

"How's work?" she asked, toothbrush in hand.

I sighed. "Pretty fine."

She rinsed her mouth and turned off the tap. "By the way, I heard you were working at a live house. Especially where there are lots of girls," she said with a smirk.

"Don't imagine stuff, Nee-chan. I only work there. And how did you even find out? I thought I was keeping it a secret."

She grinned confidently. "Your Onee-chan knows everything."

"Oh? Really?"

I left the bathroom and headed to the kitchen to start preparing dinner. Cooking was one of the few things that helped me unwind after a long day at work.

As I began chopping vegetables and heating up the stove, I paused for a moment to gather my thoughts.

"Nee-chan."

She enters the kitchen, opens the fridge grabs the bottle of milk, and raises an eyebrow. "Yeah?"

"What do you think of girls' bands?"

She took a sip of her milk, let out a satisfied sigh, and fixed her gaze on me. "Kyo-chan, you do realize you're talking to an ex-band member, right?"

I chuckled and nodded. "Right, right..."

As I continued preparing, I looked at her again, "What would you like for dinner tonight?"

"Eh? Kyo-chan's cooking? Then how about hamburger steak?"

"Sounds good," I replied with a smile, and so, I got to work, preparing delicious hamburger steak and a side salad for dinner.

After dinner, I retreated to my bedroom and booted up my PC. As I sat there, I realized that I hadn't worked on my new music project yet.

"Oh, I still haven't made progress on the new music," I muttered, looking up at the ceiling with closed eyes.

But that's not so bad, I thought to myself.

I opened my eyes, determined to make some headway on my project.

On my off days, I enjoyed editing music and creating artcores. I also worked as a composer on some games, contributing to their BGMs and OSTs

While my main instrument was the guitar, I was familiar with other musical instruments and knew how to play them.

As I immersed myself in my work, my phone vibrated on my desk. I picked it up and saw a message from Marina.

"Message from Marina-san?"

I opened the message and read her request: "Part-timer-kun, do you mind covering my shift for me tomorrow? I'll talk to the owner about it."

I quickly typed a reply, "Sure, but why do you need me to cover your shift?"

She responded promptly, "I have something to take care of I'm counting on you," along with a Michelle sticker at the end of her message.

I sighed and set my phone down. After all, it wasn't uncommon for me to fill in when needed. With that resolved, I returned to editing my music and eventually uploaded it to YouTube, eager to share my creation with the world.
