I wake up to the sun rays falling on my face. The morning looks fresh. It is indeed a bright day.
I get down from the bed and walk out of my room with the toiletry bag in my hand and enter the washroom.I take my time in washing myself up, clean and fresh. The hot water feels so relaxing on the shoulder muscles. I use the shower gel instead of soap for the smell.
Something is different today. I feel different.About 20 minutes later, mom calls from the kitchen.
I finally get out of the shower and walk back to my room and change into a pair of jeans and a tee. My bags are packed and everything is cleaned up. I leave my hair open and apply the lipgloss.Mom came in here yesterday.
I take a final look at the room and close the door behind. I walk down the stairs anf go into the kitchen.
The tiffin box is ready on the counter. I put it inside my bag and wave at my mother who is busy doing the dishes.I take a deep breath before walking out of the door. A lot is about to happen.
I decide on taking the bus to school today. The sky has turned comparatively cloudy. Yeah even she is preparing for the upcoming storm.
After a few minutes i finally arrive at the gate of the school.
This place was special for me before i met him. I would rather have called it as my escape room from the...... world at my home. Dorms weren't really a happy place as each of these faces had free access to the entry of my dorm room.
I would happily come to the school and stay in my own world of books and academic circle.
No one would bully me. Infact people would avoid having any interference in my matters. I didn't really have any friends, but yes, i didn't have any any enemies either. I was neutral.I walk into the hallway and take the stairs to the class. When I arrive at the doors, my eyes scan over all the benches.
Okay.
Everyone is here. Alex is with Riri. Ross is sitting alone doing something. Steph is sitting two benches ahead of Alex. As if.... nothing has ever happened between them...I open the door, and walk into the class. All eyes are on me now for a few seconds and then everyone gets back to what they were doing.
I walk towards the second last bench of third row which is absolutely empty and settle down there. Ross is sitting exactly parallel to me on the last row.
I know he is staring at me. I can feel his eyes on me.
Alex is looking at me in confusion. He hasn't dared to come up to me. My eyes scan over to Steph who has been absolutely normal.... normal....The floor guard comes up and asks us to make a line and move to the assembly hall. The whole class stands up and moves out. Ross leaves before me. I wait for the crowd to move out and then step out of my bench.
Alex is waiting. He didn't go.I walk past him , pretending to have missed his presence and just when I take a step ahead of him, he stops me.
Oh , it starts now.
