【••JAMESON••】

I rush downstairs as soon as the bell rings. I throw the door open and find Sophia standing outside with her bag.

A smile takes over my lips, “hi, genius.”

“Hello, Jameson.” She smiles and steps in.

I close the door then turn around to kiss her, pulling her by her waist and capturing her mouth in a kiss.

I feel her smile through the kiss before she pulls away, placing her hands on my chest, “why do you want to suddenly study together?”

“Because I missed you and you told me you were studying today. I really wanted to see you, genius. It’s hard when you’re not around.”

“You’re so dramatic.”

“I’m really not.”

She chuckles, “fine. Let’s go study then.”

“Yes ma’am,” I kiss her cheeks before I lead her to my room.

“Why does the house sound so quiet?” Sophia asks after I close the door of my room.

“For now. Dad is at work and mom is helping Jane do her homework.”

“Oh, okay.”

“Sit.” I point to the bed. Sophia nods before she puts her bag on my bed and takes her seat.

I grab my books and plop beside her as she takes out her notebooks.

“So, what are we studying?” I ask.

“Math. Ms Tessa gave us another test, remember?”

“Right. Why does she give us test every week?”

“Probably so that we can be better learners?”

“Hm, very nerdy answer I must say.”

Sophia hits my shoulder, I let out a laugh.

“Just so you know, we’re studying. So, no funny business.”

I raise an eyebrow, “what funny business?”

Her cheeks start to turn pink, “you know what I mean.”

“I don’t. Please educate me.” I say, innocently.

Kissing.” she hisses at me.

“Ah, I see,” I nod, “okay, how about this? You kiss me only when I get a question right.”

“You always get the question right.”

I grin, “exactly.”

“No.”

My grin falls, “other way around?”

“No. Just studying. No kissing.”

“I can’t study like that.”

“What do you mean you can’t study like that? Isn’t this how you normally study?”

“Yes but now I’m studying with you so there has to be some kissing involved.” I say and she glares at me, “your glares don’t do shit to me. They only make you more attractive.”

The pink shade on her cheeks brightens, “I’m leaving.”

I take her notebook, “No, you’re not.”

“Give it back, Jameson.”

“Only if you stay and involve kissing in our study session.”

She grits her teeth, “fine.” I grin, “only pecks.”
