Haseena's POV:

I woke up at the alarm. It's 4 o'clock in the morning. The sun hasn't risen yet. When I noticed on my phone, I saw on my phone's screen that my Karu was sleeping in her dorm room. Her closed eyes & the big eye lashes always mesmerized me. Is this the best person for me in this world? Definitely but I'm not the best person for her.
She's strong enough I know, still I cannot put her in situations to struggle alone!

Today I didn't go to my study room for the prayer, I prayed here & after that again went to bed. I would be restless if this face wouldn't be in front of me now. I didn't want to wake her up but couldn't resist myself, so I called her by name,

"Karu..."

Karu: Kya hai Hasee, sone dijiye na...

Me: okay!

*I was about to cut the call when I heard in her sleepy tone she said,

"Hasee ..... Wait ! I'm so....sorry, I didn't realize you were not here. then I remembered I'm alone in this empty bed!"

Me: waise bhi, this bed of yours is not spacious enough for two people!

Karu: Ha, baat to sahi hai, aur akele sone mein bohot difficulty hoti hai, aadat jo hogaya aapke saath lipatke sone ka, aab aise nind nehi aati... 😢

** My heart skipped a bit after her genuine confession. It was not sensuous, rather emotional. If something happen to me ever, how would she live without me ?!

Karu: kya soch rahe hai aap?

Me: Karishma, Akele sone ki aadat daal lijiye. Hum hamesha to nehi rahenge na aapki sath!

Karu: kyun, aap kahan ja rehe hai?

Me: Where can I go leaving you, my queen?! But Zindagi aur maut ka to kuch pata nehi.. Hum chahte hai ki hamari Karu hamesha strong & independent rahe!

Karu: kya aap bhi topa gaye, subha subha anap shanap bak rehe hai. Chup rahiye! Aapki namaz ka waqt hogaya na? Jaiye aap...

Me: yes, done already. Hamari baat suniye please, kuch zaroori baat hai. Aapki paas kiya koi property hai?

Karu: Kuch bhi to nehi. Aap to jante hai sabkuch. Kanpur mein hamara jo ghar hai, I mean Papa ki nam pe, Amma aur Bhai ne milke hume waha se bedakhal kar diya due to that reason!

Me: which reason? Because you fall in love with a person of the same gender?

Karu: pata to hai sabkuch aapko, you were there.. that day. She burnt my hand with a steel rod, you had done the dressing after that. Unhone hume ghar se nikal diya & you took me from there... Hasee, I  don't understand why you are ruining my mood by saying all this?

Me: Ka...ru, I'm sorry but there are some important issues, that's why I'm asking. Aur hamari properties ki bare mein aapko kya kya paata hai?

Karu: Aapka shayad ek ghar hai aapki home town mein, Aapki aur Heena Didi ki nam pe, thikse paata nehi hume. Aur agar kuch nehi bhi hai hum dono ki to ussse kya? Abhi to quarter hai, Aur baad mein pension ki paiso se rent ki ghar mein reh lenge, aur nehi to old age home mein saath mein reh lenge. Aap ka saath hi to hamara ghar hai Hasee!

Me: Nehi, aisa nehi hai..... As my wife you should have knowledge about my assets. Suniye dhyan se, Lucknow mein hamara jo ghar hai, that's named after me & my sister, which is under the procedure to shift to my name. & I've a duplex flat at Delhi. The address of both the houses & my bank account details are always in the locker of my bedroom & the password is xxxxxx

[**Though I couldn't share with her that I'm going to write all my assets in her name, she'll ask a thousand questions on my decision but eventually she'll realize]
