A loud roar echoed through the peaceful 'Baekho Ship,' causing the battleship to shake significantly. Soldiers in combat readiness climbed onto the deck to respond to the attack.

"What is that...?"

Soldiers who thought it was an attack from North Korea froze for a moment when unexpectedly faced with a monstrous creature. The role played by Yeonseo, Corporal Kim Woojin, had the same reaction.

In the script, there was a stage direction that read, 'Kim Woojin, faces the monster and momentarily expresses shock.'

Yeonseo recalled the time after the earthquake in 2207 when he first encountered 'it' on the surface at the age of 10.

"Ugh..."

Corporal Kim Woojin swallowed a deep breath and stared blankly at the monster. Various emotions surged in his eyes, shaking rapidly. What is it? Wasn't it the North Korean army? Can such a creature exist on Earth?

"What are you doing?! Shoot it quickly!"

Upon someone's shout, he regained his composure. He raised his gun and aimed at the monster, pulling the trigger.

However, there were no ear-piercing gunshots or muzzle flashes shining at the barrel. The CGI effects would be added later. How should actors perform to make it look more realistic?

Having transformed into Corporal Kim Woojin, Yeonseo exhibited movements considering the recoil of the gun. He counted the virtual number of bullets. Thirty shots, all used up.

Beside Kim Woojin, Han Kyul, who took on the role of Corporal Lee Hyunjoon, covered him and fired the gun.

"What the...?!"

"I don't know! Just shoot for now!"

Having exhausted all the bullets, Lee Hyunjoon took cover, and Kim Woojin, after a deep breath, turned back and raised his gun. He didn't shoot indiscriminately as before. It seemed like he was carefully shooting, as if trying to find the creature's weakness.

"Make sure the ship doesn't get damaged!"

"Oh, damn..."

Someone shouted, but was it possible now? Kim Woojin and Lee Hyunjoon briefly took cover, leaning against another shelter. The monster's tentacles reached out, breaking the shelter they hid behind.

"Aaah!"

A soldier who failed to avoid the monster's tentacles was dragged away. A stunt actor wearing a wire bent his body like a folding phone, making his being pulled away more realistic.

Kim Woojin, now a stuntman, watched the part where the monster staggered unusually and concentrated on shooting at that specific area.

"Hey! Kim Woojin!"

Despite Lee Hyunjoon's attempt to cover, he ran out of bullets. Kim Woojin calmly fired at the monster, even when it approached to swallow him.

"Damn it...!"

Struck by the monster's tentacle, Kim Woojin flew to the side. The wire pulled him at the right moment.

The shot he fired hit the monster's weakness, and finally, the monster fell. As Kim Woojin breathed heavily on the ground, the deck turned into chaos.

In the brief silence, the deck was filled with someone's moaning and shouts for medical aid.

"...Is it over?"

Extending a helping hand, Lee Hyunjoon helped Kim Woojin stand up, and they both stared blankly at the deck in ruins. What they faced was not the vast sea covered in thick fog but the green screen. 'Did I get immersed for a moment?'
