In works that didn't involve Yoo Yeonseo, both the writers and directors and the actors considered him an unknown figure. However, rumors of his uncontrollable behavior and foul personality spread from mouth to mouth, gaining traction.
Among the staff, there were whispers that just making eye contact with Yoo Yeonseo would mean not finding work in the entertainment industry again.
"Hey!"
"Hey, Hyojun."
Park Seunghwan, a close friend of Hyojun, approached them and greeted them warmly. Park Seunghwan, two years younger than Hyojun, starred in a movie last year that attracted over ten million viewers. He was one of the top actors, both in terms of name recognition and popularity.
"Hey, you've gained a lot of weight."
"I had a good vacation after a long time."
"Yeah. I've been enjoying variety shows too."
Park Seunghwan ended up appearing on "Welcome to the Guest House" because he wanted a vacation after a long time, and coincidentally, he received an offer from this producer and spontaneously accepted it. It was a fortunate coincidence for this producer.
As Park Seunghwan and Hyojun chatted and laughed about recent events, Park Seunghwan turned his head.
"You know him, right?"
"Yes, hello, Yeonseo."
Yoo Yeonseo, feeling he couldn't just sit there with so many eyes on him, stood up and shook hands with Hyojun.
"Yes, hello, Senior."
"I enjoyed your drama."
"Thank you. I also enjoyed your movie."
Despite rumors of him rude behavior towards juniors and seniors alike, when Yoo Yeonseo behaved politely contrary to expectations, Hyojun's eyes sparkled.
"Anyway, does this guy really take care of junior actors like this? Except for Yoon Jung and Suho."
"Is that so?"
"He's nicknamed 'ghost.'"
Wasn't he originally a friendly guy? Yoo Yeonseo tilted his head. Although Park Seunghwan had given him a cold look during a meeting with the variety show cast, he had behaved differently afterward.
"Is that true, hyung?"
"Oh, come on, it's an exaggeration."
They were like a family living together for a month, so he actively suggested meeting for meals several times. If it weren't for Park Seunghwan approaching first, they probably wouldn't have become this close.
"If someone sees this, they'll think I'm babysitting."
Hyojun glanced sharply at Park Seunghwan. Park Seunghwan, who came from a theater background, was known for doting on his juniors. And Hyojun was usually the one on the receiving end.
Park Seunghwan chuckled softly and patted Yoo Yeonseo's back.
"He acts all grouchy but he's actually really kind."
"Me?"
He widened her eyes, wondering if others had misheard. It was unbelievable that someone as rude as him in the entertainment industry could be considered kind. Even Yoo Yeonseo himself was looking at him as if to say, "What nonsense is this?"
Park Seunghwan looked at the bewildered Yoo Yeonseo and chuckled softly. Initially, he felt embarrassed to have prejudged him negatively based on rumors, but the more he got to know him, the more impressed he became.
