Chapter 14: Xatu, The Crazed Psychic

Weeks later, the combined efforts of Siril's military, rescue teams, and reinforcements from regions like Lant and Ethos helped stabilize the chaotic situation. Team Awesome, now led by General Aggron from Ethos, received orders to liberate the darkness cult-occupied town of Farks in Siril's Lem state.

"Greetings, soldiers of Siril. I am General Aggron from the region of Ethos. I couldn’t stand by and watch as our biggest trading partner is being overrun by this outcome, so I volunteered and here I am. And I am also honored to have three brave soldiers from Lant with us today." General Aggron greeted.

"It's an honor to have such esteemed allies join our ranks. We've heard great things about the might of Ethos and the skills of Lant." One of the Sirilean soldiers, a Bisharp stated.

"Do you think they heard about my legendary joke-cracking skills?" Elton whispered to Alex.

"Let's focus on the mission before you get us into another cleaning duty, Elton." Alex whispered back.

"We're all here for a common cause, soldiers. Let's work together and show this darkness cult what unity and strength truly mean!" General Aggron proudly stated.

As they prepared to enter Farks, General Aggron outlined the plan to knock out the frenzy Pokemon and transport them to jail. However, just before they could execute the plan, chaos ensued in an unexpected way.

Before their mission, Elton couldn't help but crack a joke that elicited laughter from everyone except Alex, who facepalmed at the corny humor. General Aggron, however, appreciated Elton's optimism and jokingly told him never to lose that side of him.

The lighthearted moment eased the tension before they embarked on their task to deal with the frenzied Pokemon of Farks and restore order to the town.

As they approached the occupied town, General Aggron, Alex, Elton, the Sirilean soldiers and the soldiers from Lant observed the chaotic scene. Dark symbols adorned every building, and the streets were a mess, reminding Alex and Elton of Team Fuse's notoriously cluttered room.

Alex, with a grim expression, remarked, "Looks like Team Fuse's idea of interior decoration has spread far and wide."

Elton, trying to lighten the mood, quipped, "At least they didn't leave dirty laundry lying around like Team Fuse."

The soldiers from Lant chuckled at Elton's humor, appreciating the attempt to inject some levity into the grim situation.

General Aggron looked at the place before stating, "Let's clean up this mess, both literally and figuratively."

As they delved deeper into the town, they encountered the evil residents. Thanks to General Aggron's leadership, they swiftly subdued them, and an Alakazam teleported the culprits to jail.

While surveying the area, Alex couldn't help but chuckle at a particularly messy symbol on a house that resembled a toddler's scribble. Elton caught on quickly, adding, "Looks like a newborn Gible tried to learn art!"

Their laughter was short-lived as an angry Sliggoo, leading a horde of evil residents, retorted, "Darkness! Well, sorry, Mr. Picasso, but try drawing without any hands! Darkness!"

The banter was interrupted by the impending battle. General Aggron directed everyone to take their positions, and in a comically quick fashion, they swiftly defeated the horde of evil residents, restoring some order to the chaotic town.

They continued their operation throughout the entire town, subduing the evil residents and restoring peace. Once their task was complete, the grateful good residents, who had been hiding in their homes, emerged and expressed their gratitude to the heroes.
