The formation of the Guiyun Sect was capable of withstanding the strongest external enemies, but even the most intricate defense can have vulnerabilities. The black water found its way through the flaws in the defensive formation, swiftly destroying the vital points of the formation and transforming into a raging flood that engulfed countless disciples of the Guiyun Sect.

Yun Sheng arrived late on his purple gourd and was shocked to see the sect submerged in black water. “What’s going on?” he exclaimed.

“Junior Brother, you’ve come just in time!” Yun Yu pointed towards the elevated position where Bai Sijin stood. “Join me in battling the demonic forces!”

Yun Sheng looked at Bai Sijin, slightly taken aback. He still remembered the Bai Sijin in the pavilion, with gentle brows and serene eyes, not the current one with dark and violent eyes filled with malevolence. Was this the true form of the Demon Lord?

“What are you waiting for? Attack!” Yun Yu wielded his Guangyang Sword and charged directly towards Bai Sijin.

Yun Sheng could only follow suit.

For the safety of their sect, they had no choice but to fight today!

Through the window, Xu Xuancao watched her master, her uncle, and her husband, her three most cherished loved ones, engage in a battle. A painful sensation tightened her chest as if she were being strangled by a rope.

Finally breaking free from the prohibition, Xu Xuancao placed the baby snake in her pocket and rushed towards the direction of the fight.

The entire Taoist hall was flooded, and the disciples were finding ways to climb to higher ground, all unharmed.

Strangely, wherever Xu Xuancao stood, the black water would automatically recede, leaving her standing on dry ground.

Was it Bai Sijin invisibly protecting her?

He even showed concern for her, not harming their fellow disciples.

Her heart warmed, and she only wanted to reach her husband’s side quickly.

To stop the fighting and go back home with him…

“Little girl, why are you in such a hurry?”

A teasing laughter sounded in her ears, and before Xu Xuancao could sense anyone’s presence, a pair of hands grabbed her shoulders from behind.

“You must be looking for Sujin. Let me take you to him, hahaha…”

At this moment, Yun Sheng was exhausted from the fight, realizing for the first time how insignificant cultivators were in the face of the Demon Lord’s overwhelming power.

He even felt that Sujin hadn’t really unleashed her full strength against them. Could it be because of Xu Xuancao?

Amidst the blades and swords, Yun Yu’s Guangyang Sword was snapped by Sujin, falling to the ground from high above.

Yun Yu hunched over, coughing up blood, on the verge of collapse.

Sujin spoke coldly, “I won’t kill you. I just want to find my wife and child.”

Yun Yu struggled to stand up, saying, “You won’t defile my disciple again!”

“Wife and child?” Yun Sheng grasped the key point. “You and Cao Cao have a child?”

Yun Yu exclaimed in shock, “Nonsense! Where did the child come from?”

“Xu Xuancao has been carrying our child for a year,” Sujin said with a faint smile on her lips. “You two are Xu Xuancao’s closest relatives. I won’t make things difficult for you.”
