Chapter One Hundred and Eight
Amy
When Scott closed the bedroom door behind him, Amy picked up the two tickets and said to herself, "We're going back to Paris the day after tomorrow, but why was Scott so worried? Something is not right here." Then she cautiously searched Scott's bag to get rid of the doubt that was bothering her mind, but contrary to her expectation, she found a paper that surprised and scared her more than anything. Amy read the paper several times, then put it back in the bag with a trembling hand. When she was sure that everything looked untouched, she ran away from the bag, sat on the couch and opened a book aimlessly. She said to herself, "What role does Josh play in this escape? I have to figure this out. I'm not going to cooperate in the escape, not this time. I'm going to complete this puzzle, whatever it takes." Then she quietly opened the trash can and picked up the box. She wondered why Scott had thrown the snow globe in the trash. That motivated Amy to open and examine it again. An idea came to her mind.
