Chapter 36♕ Uniforms

"Bonjour. Mon nom est Lucas été. J'ai 17 ans." Lucas said.

It was our first French class and I now know, he is very fluent in it. Though he does not even have French blood in him. I am such a disgrace to my family. I thought, face palming with a quiet sigh.

"Okay, thank you for that introduction Monsieur Summer. Take you seat." Madam Cruz said, her French accent appearing. She only says Monsieur or Mademoiselle if she likes the student, and it's quite obvious she likes Lucas. Who wouldn't like him?

Lucas sat beside me, grinning. Probably at me right now.

"You'll probably get an A during the exams. You're a natural." I muttered, frowning.

I suck at French. Even though Mom is French. It was Mich who was the good one. Seth did not take any other language, lucky third child.

"Yeah." Lucas replied, taking out his textbook. "My mom wanted me to take French because there was no Greek."

"I've always wanted to learn Greek." I replied, tapping my fingers on my table. Gale always talk about Greek stuff and it made me curious about thier language. But I never want to be a Greek geek like her.

"You're not eating anything?" I asked Scarlet.

"Nah. I'm not hungry." Scarlet said, sipping her coca cola.

"Okay." I took a big bite out of my strawberry shortcake.

I heard Scarlet's phone beep before she unlocked it. Her calm hazel eyes burned when she read the whole message. She gripped her bottle and coke spurted out. I squealed and Alexis flinched.

"Vat fare vou weading?" Gale mumbled, a piece of pizza in her mouth, unaffected by what Scarlet had done.

Scarlet let out a low growl. She slammed her phone on table, hard enough for my plate of pizza to shake. Alexis and I flinched while took the phone and began to read out loud. "Babe u know I didnt mean it." I snorted and rolled my eyes. Sure. I can't believe we didn't see what an idiot Ethan was. "I still luv u. Leah meant nothing to me. I was drunk. Please forgive me babe."

Gale and Alexis snorted at the same time while Scarlet was drumming her fingers om the table impatiently.

"There wasn't even any alcohol at my birthday," Gale said, rolling her eyes. "He doesn't deserve you Red. He's a bastard."

Scarlet nodded. "I just saw him this morning in the girls toilet with Karen. He won't even speak to me in person. Only sending me this stupid excuse for a text. He can't even spell properly!"

Scarlet hates people who don't spell properly when texting, she finds it very annoying.

"I should go pay him a visit," I heard Gale mutter while she was stroking her invisible beard.

"Can you tell me why we are here again?" Sky complained, repeatedly hitting my shoulder. It didn't hurt at all but it was very annoying.

The juniors and the seniors were gathered in the hall for some thingy. We do not know though.

Gale, Sky, Red, Alex, Jade and I sat the second row.

I sat beside Sky and Gale, they were both complaining and pissing the shit out of me.

Someone tapped my shoulder. Or should I say, shoulders. I turned and saw the twins, Tanith and Lilith. Tanith was older by five minutes. They both have brown hair though they both dyed it blonde. And they always wear the same clothes and shoes, accessories and bags. The only way you can tell them apart was their eyes. Tanith had pine green eyes and Lilith had sky blue eyes. Even twins have differences.

"Hey, Sapphire." Lilith greeted, smiling widely.

Lilith is a little more bubbly because she's always smiling. She's always talking to new people, I think by now, she in knows everyone in school. While Tanith is more reserved. She doesn't make friends with strangers, like her sister.

I acknowledged her with a nod.

"We know what's happening." Lilith said, twirling her ash blonde hair. I noticed that the roots were still a shade of chestnut brown, the dye not covering it.

I raised my eyebrow.

"There's gonna be a new rule." Tanith cut in, leaning closer. I could see the foundation covering the pimples on her up turned nose.

"We heard mummy talking about it." Lilith said, her blue eyes twinkling with a smirk on her heart shaped face.

"What is it?" I asked. Oh damn I am curious.

"There's gonna be a uniform." They said together, smirking.

"What?" I almost shouted.

This caught Sky's and Gale's attention.

"What's happening?" Sky and Gale said at the same time.

"We're having school uniforms." I mumbled.

My expressionless face broke onto a grin.

"We're gonna have school uniforms!" I said excitedly, but not shouting. I pointed at Gale's face. "Now you can't force me to wear those outfits!"

I pinched her nose. I was about to say how those clothes ruined my life but Mrs Baker came on stage, making me shut up.

"We only have two more days before we wear...wear...wear those horrible excuses for clothes!" Gale shouted at the parking lot, throwing the plastic bag filled with her new uniform.

When she noticed what she did, she quickly picked it up and wiped it. "I knew there was something fishy when they took our measurements last month!" Alex yelled, sobbing dramatically.

Alex and Gale are the ones who care most about clothes. The rest of us just take any random shirt we get our hands on and we wear it.

"Luceeeeeeeeeee!" Lucas shouted. Arms were wrapped around my waist and I was lifted off the ground.

"Eek!" I squealed, my arms flailing around.

He carried me and started going in circles, making me dizzy.

After forever, he let me go. I had to hold onto his arm to compose myself. I get dizzy very easily.

"Oops. Sorry Luce." Lucas apologized, his hand on the small of my back.

I shook my head and smiled at him. "Nah, I'm good."

"OTP!" Jade shouted before running into Daimon's arms, tackling him to the ground.

"Promise me you will never do that me." Lucas whispered into my ear. I laughed, not processing what he really meant.

Uniforms are at the top. I couldn't really find nice ones. Only found this. It's the nicest one I saw...
